Allegedly Huddersfied Town are more interested in George Iorpenda, and I heard that they are interested in seeing what clubs are willing to pay. I don't like speculation or spreading rumours, but it was supposed to be around £500.000; which there was also said to be a lot of interest from other League One teams. If it's true, I would hope Notts is in conversations with trying to secure his services again. Permanently would be a dream come true, but there's no reason why they wouldn't loan him back out to us. His season with us this past campaign may have changed their views, it might be that they are looking to get him involved but when a club is looking to generate assets, there is always a chance of a deal being formed. I just hope that if any bids do go in, that it doesn't start a bidding war. I firmly believe Tom would re-join us, and love that; but we will have to wait to see what happens.

It could be a good move, but I think Zak Johnson might want to see how his season goes and if he performs well again. Who knows? Players move too quickly these days. They don't get to settle, or gain improvements in consistancy that knowing your role through decent stints with teams offers.

Just so people can watch here without leaving the site. Salford seemed to have a bit more focus, but I loved how our young fan was either oblivious to the Salford captain reaching out to sake hands or was snubbing him. It looks more like nerves to me, but was funny. Karl Robinson looks absolutely annoyed, and like he doesn't even want to do the interview. Throughout our players interactions, I love how they engage with the young fan and that our whole camp looked together. It was wonderful to see Chud participate as well. I wish @Dan had managed to be there, even though I think he mentioned he was covering Juventus.

Ollie Norburn's departure did feel short, and I do think that he ended his season the right way for us. He became an exceptional part of the team, and the role he played to assist our promotion was vital to how he would defend and get Notts going. Some are comparing him to Johnny Bostock, but I do feel we may have been able to keep Norburn whereas Bostock didn't have a great last season and I felt his departure made perfect sense. Both players brought something we needed to the middle of our team, and were cult icons during their time, but Norburn for me could have given so experience and still played a role, when Bostock made sense to move on. Nothing will change, so I wish Norburn well. But I think we need to add some speed there and that seems to be the case with the signing of Max Sanders.

I remember the first time I sat in the Derek Pavis stand with my Grandfather Ray, I was so excited to see a live game and he briefed me before the game not to expect too much and that it wouldn't be like I had seen on TV. However, I was glued the moment the first touch was made and I liked that back then the players uninvolved sat behind the dugout. At half-time, my grandfather and a few other fans would talk to some of them such as Michael Johnson. That impression of being a family club is part of what won me over. I don't recall the cost of the tickets, but I do remember the feel of the paper. How much better quality they looked and felt. I loved the holographic image and the overlay of the old Notts logo. I would keep all of my tickets, and I stored them in a large mint tin my mum gave me. One day, I hope to find it.

The summer and warmer months, especially with the World Cup and other sporting events, give us a great chance to increase the amount of revenue that The Nest takes in. It's a popular spot with my son's Uni, a lot of his friends are not fans but frequently go to the events. I wished the club would try to host some events around e-gaming, and try to convert some of these students into Notts fans. Surprisingly, most do not have a team, and my son tells me most only look out for the Premier League results. He's the only one in his course that supports a team, or attends games. To the article, it's a great insight and it's nice to see just how much this decision is paying off. It's a credit to the club.

There were rumours he was off to a European team, I don't really listen to them until we know for sure but maybe something did get in his head that stopped him performing to his best ability? I am not saying he didn't try, but speculation can greatly impact form.

I would agree that Martin Paterson settled into the role as the season grew, he didn't stress or panic. He never looked like Ian Burchnall (rabbit in the head lights) and he never seemed worried or stressed (Stuart Maynard). Naturally as the squad settled in together, it opened the floor for Paterson to understand which players are key to starting. Even then, I feel he managed to figure out that playing Rod McDonald in the centre got the most out of him and that is something I don't think many previous managers would have attempted. The younger squad players, they clearly took on board the freedom and instructions given to them because once the likes of Tom Iorpenda grew in confidence the better his performances grew on the pitch and this is something that is obviously improved with the support of your gaffer. I wonder if Iorpenda thought he would be in and out of the squad, especially with the likes of Matt Palmer, Scott Robertson and Ollie Norburn. I also think it shows as fans we need to be a bit more patient and less judgemental of games that happen early, or if we lose our way a little. This is more directed to those on social media who called for Paterson's head after our 6 game unbeaten run ended or those who said we had no ambition because we didn't bring back Ruben Rodrigues. Clearly, competing with Bolton's resources is outside our limit and I still believe we wouldn't have had the room for him. Who would we have dropped? No point backing talent, that could lead to unhappiness that they are not starting often enough. You need team players, and I am sure Rodrigues is that, but I highly doubt he wouldn't want to start week in and out.

I like watching darts between two professionals, especially when they are quite evenly matched. I do not like watching cocky players, or those who are simply miles better than their opponent. I think the sport has become worse for unsportsmanship in recent years. I like the character of a true professional but not the silly tantrums. Shake hands, and walk off... Don't flip tables or try to start fights. Snooker is okay in small doses. I can find it interesting when players try to go for it and play safe to a degree. It's boring when someone is overprotective and relies on fouls. Basketball is about the only American sport that I actually enjoy; I don't like Baseball or American Football. I am not into motor sports either. Some sports simply make me sleepy, and both F1 and the C word fall into that category.

I made a bit of a ball up today, I have been offering help to one of the first communities I joined as a 14-year-old and I have brought the site down. I am awaiting contact from the owner, I hope they will understand the situation but I do feel frustrated by my own actions. I tested it locally, it was fine, but as it seems it's not always enough. I am very keen to help them, and ensure the site prospers, but it's not a good start. 😥

I didn't dream that he signed for Chesterfield after leaving us, correct? I thought he was very good when he played in the right position, very good at getting forward and skillful enough to take on players in a way that made them not want to dive in with challenges. He wasn't consistent, but he put a lot of effort into his performance and usually I felt he was let down by others not pulling their own weight around him.

Having watched Oldham last season, they have someone who can do the dirty work that they didn't have previously and will have a no-no-nonsense midfielder that gets stuck in. I hope Oldham fans look forward to seeing him take on Chesterfield, and rekindling that Armando Dobra rivalry. They should start chanting The Cranberries 'Zombie'. Though changed to, "He's in your head, in your head, Drobra, Drobra, Drobra.. "Ollie Norburn, Ollie Norburn, Norburn, Norburn, Norburn..."

@StarkMallard Yes, I have been watching that Dr. Now show. He helps people lose weight, and the information is really helpful. Not that I am that big, but the calorie counting and intake is so vital to losing weight. I am guilty of thinking I am being healthier with a diet, when it still isn't all that much but then there's medication that doesn't help with side effects of weight gain. Some good advice shared by you, I hope you are still trying to adapt to the healthier lifestyle. =)

I am in the process of designing some themes, and some added benefits that are to be included is an accessibility element. I might build it as an application that can further improve the theme side options and detect the themes I create so that they are compatible, easily managed and able to make a difference to those who need it. @Robbie Would any kind soles please give me their thoughts, I know this isn't Notts related and it's only somewhat PON related. Yet I do know some people have difficulties seeing, and with my own pre-disbetes there are times when my vision is poor. So, this would help make a difference in those periods. It's not about me, but providing something of use to the community here.

Still coding and actually enjoying it a lot more, I think I might be addicted but it's a good way to relax. I am just taking 10 minutes here and there to comment, as I acknowledge I should be doing other things too. I have been listening a lot to "They Might be Giants". I found out a few years ago that they sang some songs from my childhood. I didn't know these songs were by the band famous for the "You're not the boss of me" theme from Malcolm in the Middle.

As some will know, I have experienced health concerns, and have been trying to lose weight for a number of years. My last visit to my local nurse led to me having an appointment with a nutritionist in person and she was wonderful. Some of her tips I had never known about, and as a result I do feel like I am losing weight. I still struggle to walk, that's expected but I can get around with help on bad days and mostly experience much nicer days. It's more my back pain that persists and makes me retreat to laying down; it's the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. I can't compare it to any dislocation I have experienced, not even having dislocated both of my knees whilst at work because my line manager expected me to fully clean the back storage room, and move two indrusturial double fridge freezers to deep clean them and the walls behind (I wished I had requested to break it down throughout the week but the kitchen staff I worked with were horrible people). Currently I am on a stricter diet, and have reduced the amount of pop that I drink. I had water prior but I did have a couple of cans a day of Tango and what I call Reggie Reggie Juice. I'm not back on mostly water, and a sugar-free apple Tango. What about you? Are you on a diet? Do you enjoy fitness as a means to keep fit and healthy? What have you been doing recently? It's probably a good thing Karl Robinson has gone, I don't like him personally but he's better than Salford City for sure. Yet the guys as plastic as they come, someone will pay him good money and he'll take charge. Good manager, I don't like his attitude or twofaced nature but the guy seemed to deserve better. I read David Beckham lips at half-time, when the cameras settled on him and I can tell he said "The second-half needs to be better, this isn't good enough". I commented at the time to Jake, that it seemed Karl was underpressure. I think the amount of money they spend is beyond a joke, I have no idea if they still have a documentary or if the class of 92 still doing anything of that likes for Salford City but the club isn't being run properly. It doesn't matter how much money they have, or the person said to hold the majority share hold now. It's the club that operates at the end of the day, and it needs to be as close to the net even as possible. I am well aware this isn't common in football, but they are throwing money and risking Salford. If they get bored, or the investers decide they no longer want to payroll an unsuccessful club who will cover the debts?

What have I been saying for years about FLW? I have spent years building an honest, non-clickbait or bad practices when it comes to content management. These are one of the reasons why I am so against clickbait and false articles, and it annoys me greatly that people don't learn and continue to give them clicks. They are using AI instead of Photoshop to falsely present images, not just of Matin Paterson but horrific generated article imaes which they should be making clear that AI is being used. I wouldn't waste my time reading their content, although I did after seeing a friend comment on one of their peices about a negative Notts fan and their views on Cal Roberts, I checked because I wouldn't put it past them to falsely use what I or other people write. They are worse than newspapers when it comes to rage and clickbait. They are misleading fans, and I'm surprised they haven't had legal problems with some of their actions. Don't trust bad practices because good people don't do those things, and they don't deserve your time. I wonder if Karl Robinson will end up there, you know, between spending time with his family of course.

Max Sanders has always impressed me when I have seen him play, he's a good technical player that should be a more polished player in a squad like ours. I think we'll enable him to show his best and get the most out of him; as a player with experience in the ELF I think it's a fantastic addition to the team. He looks like the player who will come in to take over from Ollie Norburn did for us last season.
