In my view, the ball crossed the line when the Wrexham goalkeeper attempted to save it. His body pushed it over as he slid for the ball. It was evidently a goal. Introducing goal-line technology to all EFL leagues could be beneficial, but I’m aware this could lead to the use of VAR. I’m undecided on this, as it could correct many errors made by lower-tier officials, yet we’ve seen it mismanaged in other places.

Jodi Jones is a remarkable player and I’m happy for him. He’s been deserving of this award in the past, so it’s great that he’s finally been named the League Two Player of the Season. It’s some welcome good news.

If you’ve backed Notts before the Reedtz brothers’ era, you’d be familiar with this situation, and it’s disappointing. I fear we’re falling out of the promotion race as teams typically hit their stride at this stage, and we’re not. The midfield was largely to blame for the goals. People can keep pointing fingers at Aidan Stone, but no goalie could have stopped the opportunities Gillingham created. With three centre backs, insufficient wide cover, and a static approach to middle pressing, Notts faltered due to a lack of ruthlessness. Fixing this will take time, and Stuart Maynard needs to be afforded that time.

Fans are worrying prematurely. It’s too soon to talk about contracts, and our current form is leading to unfair criticism of individual players. I agree with Sally’s tweet, Cedwyn Scott’s comeback would be significant, and I’m eager for it. Please, let’s focus on the positives. The team is down, and hearing that fans would let them go is disheartening. Ideally, this could motivate them, but mostly it’s sad. If we were on a winning streak, this wouldn’t even be a topic.

The Reedtz brothers have chosen Stuart Maynard, and that’s good enough for me. I have faith in their choices and think that Maynard has a lot of potential. He might need some time to adjust to things at Meadow Lane, as it’s a big leap from Wealdstone, no disrespect to them. But he’s inheriting a good team and we might see a few more join. I reckon there’s still scope to look for a player like Matt Palmer and perhaps another to play in the striker’s support role.

I still think the referee should have sent off the Barrow player. It was a reckless and appalling tackle. Given his speed, there was no chance of getting the ball and he wasn’t even close to making contact. He simply took out Jodi Jones.

Notts didn’t really step up their game. We should have capitalised on the fouls they made, even though the referee didn’t seem keen on giving proper penalties. Barrow didn’t pose much of a challenge, but Notts’ playstyle required high quality to alter the result. In my opinion, Jodi Jones was the only player who seemed capable of making a difference.

I’m not too familiar with him, but his connection to Notts is interesting. Having been part of Forest’s academy, he’s likely received high-quality coaching. I wish him the best of luck with his loan.

The update is encouraging. Notts has done a commendable job helping the players recover, and it’s reassuring to know that those who’ve had surgeries haven’t faced any complications. I’m particularly hopeful about Matt Palmer’s recovery; it would be unfortunate if his injury affected his style of play, but I don’t think it will. I’m also looking forward to Cedwyn Scott’s return.

Stuart Maynard brings a fresh perspective. I appreciate his concise yet detailed responses to questions. He seems to be a thoughtful individual who pays attention to every aspect that can make a difference. He’s somewhat similar yet distinct from Luke Williams. I sincerely hope the team makes a positive impression on him.

Saturday feels different with a new manager at the helm. It's crucial we support the team and trust in Maynard's process, whether it's a win, draw, or loss against Barrow. The key for me will be how we manage the game, cutting down on mistakes and staying focused for 90 minutes. Predicting a solid 2-0, keeping those 3 points in Nottingham!

It’s excellent news about the injury update, and I’m truly grateful to learn that all the players are recovering well. While some may be concerned about Matt Palmer missing pre-season, I believe it’s best for him to return only when he’s completely fit. The inclusion of Cedwyn Scott in the team will certainly bolster our attack. I’m hopeful that Stuart Maynard can establish a successful partnership between Cedwyn Scott and Macaulay Langstaff.

Being at college and having a part-time job means I do a lot of walking, which is my excuse for exercise. If you spoke to my parents, they would say I get enough just by talking. So, this is really a win-win situation.

I know we’ve been here before, when youngsters sign a new deal and then end up never really featuring, but I’m excited about the prospect of James Sanderson. Not because of his debut, but because everyone who knows him speaks so highly of him. There was an academy coach who spoke about James being something unique and special. His first professional deal is an amazing milestone.

Good insight. I think Stuart Maynard has mentioned how he sees Notts as a good fit and almost identically set up from Wealdstone. I’m surprised we haven’t been linked with one or two of their players, as I could see some filling the gaps to ensure that he has some of his own players who understand his way of thinking. I’m sure the squad will do well with his instructions, and it really is a gradual process.

It sounds like the women’s team is ramping things up to go the extra mile. I do hope they can turn this season around and start collecting points. All these changes sound like a very good start.

I’m eager to see him in action. It’s all too common to see a young player sign and then not quite live up to expectations. I’m sure Jaden Warner is here with the intention to play, but in the Championship, there’s more time to react. League Two is scrappy and physical. He has all the makings of a key player, but it depends on how he’s integrated into our team.

It’s really sad news for Nuneaton’s community and fans. I hope they can find a way to start over.
