Comfortable win for Brizzle I reckon, 0-3 making it 360 minutes without a goal at home. Post match meltdown to continue with the ticket office resigning on the grounds that they had been arrested for obtaining money through false pretenses.

@Modern Fan 1862 ???? You dont blame a player for taking wages , money that you pay to the club , and yet saying he doesnt play for Notts but only Moniz?? Listen I know you are no fan of the new manager but surely you have to see that he has protected Aborah here and tried to get him back on board...at a time when he was getting huge criticism for not playing him? Surely his harshest critic has to give him some credit for having some integrity? Notts County FC is most important ..not players who don't want to play ...but still want paid ...I cant believe you would disagree with that You are making assumptions upon hearing only one side of the story. You do not know what disagreements the pair might have had in private and nor do I. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Is he allowed to make one ? Why not, he has nothing to lose now, as either way his Notts career is finished. If he agrees then so be it, if he denies it, we will know for certain. He did have a pop at the Posts Leigh Curtis yesterday about not getting both sides of a story, so there probably is something being kept secret. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

It may also be a ploy by the club to try and deflect the criticism from tonight's appalling display and make fans talk about something else. At the end of the day we won't know until Stanley makes a statement.

Match Discussion: Game 34 - The Daggers (H)
This was a case of did Stanley say that he didn't want to play for Notts, or Fullarton? Also, no one knows what may have been said by both sides in meetings, so it is a case of waiting to see if Aborah is allowed to say anything. If it is true, then is he not effectively on strike?

If we can't get rid I would put Dryden in charge above his head for now, as he can't do any worse.

Match Discussion: Game 34 - The Daggers (H)
No doubt that this is a new low. He has now had 270 minutes of home football and still no goals, out shot and out performed by the worst team in the division. Nobody can defend this man any longer, he simply has to do the decent thing and resign, because we know for a fact that he will not be sacked whilst the club is up for sale. He has now taken one of the most talented attacking squads in the division and reduced them to a shambles, unable to pass and unable to get into a position to shoot, utterly shameful.

As long as he picks a similar side to Saturday we should be alright. We need to be more mobile and that in itself should bring us the wins we need. I don't actually think we need 4 wins, 2 wins and a draw should be plenty, as that will be 46 points and I can't see York getting 20 points from 13 games.

Match Discussion: Game 32 - Stanley (A)
Twitter is awash with negativity tonight and I have never seen this before to a manager, I have hardly found anybody sticking up for him. The club is in a very sorry state at the moment and I really don't know how the board of directors are going to fix this. It looks as though they are going to have to either publicly back him, or sack him. The latter will lift the fans, the former will probably knock a thousand off the gate for the rest of the season.

Match Discussion: Game 32 - Stanley (A)
Teams now know that if they move the ball around against us we have no answer and this is heightened when we include Smith in the side. When you're 2-0 down at half time, he should have took Smith and McLeod off, brought Campbell and Murray on and moved Noble to the centre. I fear that we will get hammered on Saturday, because Plymouth are quite solid at the back.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - Stanley (A)
The fact he wouldn't give a straight answer in effect answers the question. The bloke doesn't want footballers in the side.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - Stanley (A)
No, because we were still outclassed for most of the game. It actually took bringing on a couple of mobile players for us to make a bit of a comeback, but to leave Smith on again for the full 90 minutes is just a joke, the bloke can't run! That's one win from the last 4 games now, and will probably be 1 win from 5 on Saturday.

Match Discussion: Game 32 - Stanley (A)
What a lovely evening this is turning out to be. Missed the first few minutes and looked up on Twitter that he has decided to go with an immobile side versus a mobile side, brilliant! Unfortunately, I see this going as a 4 or 5 nil match, rather than is getting it back to 2-2.

Match Discussion: Game 32 - Stanley (A)
Tonight could be a watershed moment for the team depending upon the line up. McLeod: Has to be dropped, he is just hopelessly out of form at the moment and has never scored away anyway. Smith: His legs are gone and can't play another 90 minutes after playing 3 games in a week. Adams: Poor on Saturday, but might be saved if MacKenzie is back as I can't see two players being changed in the back four. Carroll: Will probably keep his place if changes are made elsewhere. Aborah: I think Fullarton's hand has now been forced on this and Stanley will at least make the bench (but should replace Smith), if not we know his Notts career will be over. Carroll Hewitt MacKenzie Hollis Adams Thompson Campbell Noble Aborah Banton Stead, Bench: Loach, Audel, Murray, Milsom, McLeod, Atkinson, Valencic This is the closest I can get to a plausible line up without ripping the side apart.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - Stanley (A)
I would like to see Milsom back as well, whether that is at left back or the left side of midfield, I think we have missed him. I actually thought that Hewitt had a decent game at centre half on Saturday, whereas I'm not a big fan of his at right back, I do at least think he is better than Atkinson in that position. Accy have injuries as well as suspensions, so we might have a chance of scraping a draw, but please drop McLeod and Smith as we can't play them with 9.

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Minstermen (A)
Shock, horror! I actually agree with you on this!!! Look what complacency did for us last season when we were 10 points clear of the drop zone.
-
Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Minstermen (A)
How can Leigh Curtis give so many 7s to a side that has just been beaten by the worst team in the football league?!? I know he took some stick as he used to just give out 6s, but that is pathetic and he is just fanning the flames for the fans to have more of a dig at him!

Jamie Fullarton understands Will Hayhurst injury woes
I would like to argue that it was way before April 2015 that he last kicked a ball competitively for Notts. OK on his debut against Crewe, but woeful after that. The lad has no pace, he can cross a ball though, maybe his best position is further inside than on the wing.

Match Discussion: Game 28 - Pools (H)
I actually wondered when Moniz was fired as to whether Aborah would have a future with us. He is a very talented player for this level, but I feel he has to be used in a certain way for him to be effective (a bit like Boucard). Moniz utilized him in a method that suited him, whereas Fullarton is more than likely not going to, looking at the way his teams have lined up so far. Stanley would be most effective in a 3, or 5 man midfield, not a 4 man midfield as one of the two in the middle.
-
Match Discussion: Game 28 - Pools (H)
I also think that Hartlepool will come and pack the midfield this weekend. I will currently take a 1-0 win as well because we need to build the confidence for a couple of really tough games coming up in a few weeks.
-
Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Hatters (A)
Some mobility would be nice, we are just too static and make it way too easy for the opposition to run past us, which McCourt will do easily if he is in the mood. I can't see us getting anything out of this at all and can see a pasting if we just try to defend, so 5-0 to Luton. I would normally put a 1 against our name, but just can't see us creating any chances. Noble, Aborah and Murray to start please, with Bennett, Campbell and McLeod making way. I could swap a lot more, but doubt it would happen!
