  1. David McGoldrick seems to have won everyone over. I am pleased he’s back and appreciate what he’s said since his return. He sounds very focused, considering Derby still wanted him. This suggests it should work out for us, but nobody knows when a player’s legs will go. I believe he will be fit enough.
  2. Good to see another recently arrived member of PON joining in, welcome to the comminity @Ohh Tommy Johnson.
  3. Hello, @calw_111. Welcome to PON, as another newbie I hope you join in.
  4. Hello, welcome to PON @Bigrossco1862. I am new myself and I did read the site before and a bit more after joining, once you join in you will the enjoyment or it.
  5. Hello, welcome to PON @MagpieLane. I am a new member but its great to see someone else like me joining in.
  6. Hello, @Stuart jackson. I am new here myself and I find it a very good place to read, if you decide to read more, just remember if and when you do feel like commenting it will break the ice. Everyone has been most friendly. Good luck with PON.
  7. Gary McSwegan was an excellent striker for Notts, we should have kept him for long! Welcome, @McSwegansRightPeg.
  8. Thank you, again everyone! I am happy to be here.
  9. It's been awhile since I heard the wrestlers name, so sad to think that had gone. Rest in Peace.
  10. It’s great that McGoldrick will have the support of his family at many games this season. Family is important and it must be special for him to share this experience with them.
  11. A bet to run onto the pitch? Idiot is a good word to sum them up. It most certainly isn’t “supporter” or “fan”. I think the club should extend their own ban to the people involved in encouraging it too. These types of people ruin football.
  12. Hello, my name's Richard. I grew up watching Notts in the going to games with my family clan, which included aunts, uncles, grandparents, mother, father, sister and brothers, cousins and nephews. We were about 22 fans strong then. I have seen Notts play Chelsea, Leeds, Spurs, Arsenal, Manchester United all home and away. My favourite player growing up was Don Masson. I thought he was pure brilliance. I now attend games with my two sons and their children. Not so much of a big clan now but we enjoy supporting the club. Thank you for taking the time to welcome me.
  13. I would ask the Reedtz brothers what they believed was possible in comparison to what has actually happened so far. I wonder at what stage, going into the club, they hoped Notts would gain promotion back to League Two and how they felt when they saw it unfold at Wembley. If I had the time, I would enquire about how our recruitment system works. For example, what is the inner process without giving too many details away? I would then thank them for restoring the club’s title as the World’s Oldest Professional Football League Club.
