Congratulations @Fan of Big Tone wear it with pride. What a roller coaster of emotions last night and what a fantastic crowd, absolutely brilliant to be part of the journey. Wembley, bring it on. Lovely morning today, horses to feed etc, a little thing called packing to finish ready for tomorrow. Sorry to be missing the final, but we will watch it, one way or another. Happy days ahead me thinks.

Match Discussion: League Two - Chesterfield (A)
Hello everyone, unfortunately my son is unable to attend tonight so I have a spare adult ticket Derek Pavis G153. Give me a ring or message me on 07525538618 if it is of any use.

It's a 17,000 sellout.
Thought of the day (especially for Paul Cook). For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness. 👹 😃

Thank you @Fan of Big Tone that's much appreciated 👍

It's a 17,000 sellout.
I totally agree with you @Fan of Big Tone no surprise because such a game warrants a sell out crowd. Myself, Mrs P and our Son Matthew will be adorning the lower middle area of the Derek Pavis stand. Couldn't tackle the steps myself, might make a suggestion that Notts install a stair lift for the older fans benefit 🤣 then the possibility of a waiter/waitress to sell mixed goodies and drinks for half time so you don't have to move. 🤠👍 Also change the seats to ones that can be warmed up if required, with a little padding on request, happy days 😀

Weekly Chat Monday 11th to Sunday 17th May
A little chilly here at the stables this morning, but the sun popping in and out compensates somewhat. 🥶 seems to be warming up at the moment, quiet before the storm me thinks 🤔 Lovely picture once again @Piethagoram of Bratislava Castle looking very baronial, thank you. Today is a day helping a very good friend who lost her dad in an explosion at the weekend, then two nights later the bungalow was ransacked by mindless thieves. Talk about kicking you when you are down. I am going to arrange the demolition of the Workshop, removal of several propane and couple of other cylinders, then secure the property where necessary. That's me for the day.

A very cold and wet good morning from the paddock. I'm glad that by watching the weather forecast i have the appropriate attire on today, namely hat and waterproof coat. 🤠🌧 What a wonderful sight as I poo picked the big lads paddock, to be able to see and appreciate such beauty is absolutely fantastic, how grateful I am to be in a position to do so. @Piethagoram thank you for your array of stunning photos, I must admit I look forward to where we are going to see next. Once again thank you 😊 Nice to hear @allardyces tash that you and your colleagues enjoyed a tipple on the way home, that's one thing that I miss having now retired 😢 Lovely to hear that @fanofbigtone you are almost there, i hope that the treatment does its job and you will be free as a bird. 👍

Weekly Chat Monday 11th to Sunday 17th May
@Chris i am glad to see everything is on the up for yourself and your family. What with the Skeggy trip and now looking to shed a pound or two in the future, you'll be running a marathon next.😂 we were in Skeg Vagas over the bank holiday with our two youngest grandchildren and had a super time. @Fan of Big Tone i hope the hospital visit went well and everything is all clear. Today i have had to take Mrs P to work, then Chase our grandson to school then over to Selston so I could organise some demolition for a very good friend who lost her father in an explosion the other day, as her and her mum will not move back until everything has gone. Some kind person/people have ransacked the house while they are not there. Then off to the stables to feed and see to the horses. Back home and quiet until Mrs P's dad turns up for a cuppa and stopped for a couple of hours. 😵💫 He knows where every road is in this country and their letters and numbers, so when he talks about a route to or from a specific area you will know every road to take and the direction you are travelling, bless him. Now I am ready for a rest, please 🙏

Nice one @Fan of Big Tone especially the dobra picture, what a drama queen. That's what you call justice for all the unsavoury things he does😆 Bit chilly down at the stables this morning, even the horses were shivering. As for me, when finished I couldn't feel my finger ends, meaning there must be a chill in the wind. We are now preparing for when we go away, making 26 feeds for Myles the big lad and 26 little feeds for Diesel our miniatureShetland. Meaning a large scoop of chaff, large scoop of conditioning mix, devils claw, and a small scoop of turmeric for big lad, then small amount of chaff plus a little conditioning mix and then a small scoop of glucosamine for little man. I really hope the bags are done by Friday, which they should be, then off to Morocco for 10 days on Sunday. Preparation is always key when leaving them, like it should be for Notts on Friday evening. 👍⚽️

Who's your Man of the Match v Chesterfield?
The whole team put a shift in this evening and deserve credit for the performance. Standout for me was as @theAnticlough and @menzinho said Macdonald gave a captains performance and for me was the glue keeping the team together. All together a truly positive performance and a good lead to take back to Meadow Lane. COYP 👏

Well @Fan of Big Tone today will be a third towards promotion to the third tier. The fate of that journey is with Martin and his squad, all we can do is hope, as I know they will, that every player gives their all. @super_ram looks like a lovely pint of my favourite Guinness, cheers to you and yours, hope you enjoyed it. @StarkMallard obviously the Gods of football are with us today, a wheel falling off is a good omen. COYP 🥳👍⚽️

Weekly Chat Monday 4th to Sunday 10th May
Hello everyone, another fine day on our wonderful planet. Below is a true and factual story about infinite travel using a pensioners Bus Pass. Hope you enjoy. Bus Pass Delight What a lovely day it is today, Off to Newark, I'm on my way. Bus 28 to take me there, Around an hour to be fair. At Lombard Street I will alight, Bay number three, the shining light. First things first, Market Square, The Knife Angel appearing there. St Magdalains Church next for me, Then off to get a cup of tea. Looking around, so much change, Familiar shops empty, so,so strange. Time to go, tugs at the heart, Bus Station calls, time to depart. Bus in Bay D taking me back, Minutes to go, no time to slack. Journey started, going the wrong way, Heading to the unknown I would say. Ask the driver as to why, N2 to Hawtonville his reply. Stay on here and try to relax, A 25 minute round trip to be exact. Return to Station is quite swift, Caught the wrong bus, need a lift. Coffee required, an hour to wait, Hurry along quick, but don't be late. The time arrives to go to Bay D, Bus Pass ready for the driver to see. Check the number to be sure, On the right bus, smiles galore. All in all an adventurous day, With a little extra, some would say. MDP. 🤠

TREEMENDOUS This tree, look how he smiles at you, Putting on show all he can do. Spreading his arms to embrace one and all, Enjoying the sun, and growing so tall. Allowing birds to stop for a rest, Even giving some permission to nest. Stability given from roots in the ground, Creeping and crawling, not making a sound. Apparently they match branches aloft, Mining through the hard and the soft. As spring approaches buds start to appear, The foliage canopy will soon be here. Leaves in abundance on every branch, Dancing together as if in a trance. Taking in sunlight for a chemical fix, Working with water to compound the mix. Lungs of the earth, every single tree, Without their presence where would we be.

Something to whet your appetite for the future. If only the leaders of this planet would take a few seconds to read and contemplate. If only 🤔 @Fan of Big Tone good luck with your teen sitting and fingers crossed for the climbing session this evening 🤞😵💫

Weekly Chat Monday 4th to Sunday 10th May
Hello and welcome to retirement Tuesday, the day after bank holiday Monday 😀 Just had a weekend in Skeg Vagas as Mrs P wanted to take Isabella our grand daughter to see K Pop at the Embassy Theatre, she didn't know and when the two of them went in, as you can imagine Isabella went crazy happy as she loves K Pop music at the moment. I was left literally holding the baby as I had our youngest grand daughter Imagine for the evening. So a good time was had by all. Fortunately I was able to pull in the Bristol game and jump on the train to Skeg Vagas afterwards. I have to agree @Fan of Big Tone that Derby County were unlucky not to get to the playoffs, Mrs P's dad Gordon is an avid fan and used to attend regularly, sympathy with @super_ram also. Horses done this morning, washing hung out, just the grass to mow, i don't know about retirement, I'm doing more now than I ever did at work, and it's longer hours 😅 Thought for the day. Hope but never expect, look forward but never wait.

Match Discussion: League Two - Bristol Rovers (A)
I agree with @NCFCGuy and his starting 11. Belshaw, Ness, McDonald, Bedeau, Jones, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Robertson, Iorpenda, Luker and Jatta. Personally my thoughts are with every single player, Martin and his backroom staff. They have all done us proud and whatever happens tomorrow we should bring the house down, giving every single one of them our gratitude and thanks for another entertaining and enjoyable season. We are so fortunate supporting the oldest professional football club in the world, show that tomorrow LOUD and PROUD. COYP 👏 📢 🤠

Weekly Chat Monday 27th April to Sunday 3rd May
Well @Chris it's lovely to hear you are making good progress, sometimes adding your own solutions and working them side by side with your Doctors recommendations sit easy because you know your own body better than anyone and therefore accept what is given as an add on. Good support is a necessity to improve your health. Great to hear that your back is on the mend @Fan of Big Tone you will definitely need it for a 3 week cruise, sailing the seven seas. 😎🚢 Being a pensioner and now retired I understand where you are coming from regarding the shopping, filling up the car and buying clothes for holidays etc. Prices are getting ridiculous and showing no sign of decreasing in price. Think I might have to go back to work 🤔 What a beautiful sunny morning, slight breeze over the paddock this morning but the coat is off and all is well. Have a great day everyone 😀

Weekly Chat Monday 27th April to Sunday 3rd May
Once again a beautiful morning, although the breeze still has a chill riding on it. Good to see you back @liampie and returning to the fold after all the training to improve your chances. You doing this reminded me of some words I read a while back. "Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself." Keep working hard and you will reap your rewards. As for you @Chris i also have read words that I thought you would like. "Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. One helps you make a living, the other helps you make a life." Happy Wednesday everyone, have a lovely day. 🤠
