"I want to play every minute"- David McGoldrick.
i dont think we can play him all the time, he tires and breaks down naturally. last season from the point we struggled to the end of the season showed that. hes much better being rested and started, saved for the big games and allowed to pick up minutes based on how hes performing. this season i think hes been class and part of that is because we have not relied on him so much.

Solihull Moors v Notts County Women.
@Robbie they do seem to be making the right progress and with the recent fans forum with the talk of bringing all the teams closer, it sounds like something that will only benefit the womens and junior teams.

Dennis Gyamfi to Notts?
there was possibly interest in him but i dont think rumours tend to be all that true. not like we were going to offer him a deal, but was tracking or opening early stages to see if he had interest in us but nothing concrete.

Man City demolished at Home by Spurs
it might seem controversial but i think erling haaland is one of citys biggest problems. they have to do everything through him, nobody else seems to want to shoot. its like their instructed to get into a good position and then look for haaland. either they start playing as a team again, or they look to get rid of him because despite him being a good goalscorer he is not the sole answer to winning games.

Dumbarton have gone into administration.
is the go fund me donation actually going to help them? i think its great when people and teams come together, if afc wimbledon can get a whole new pitch from a small area being damaged its good to know a clubs actual future is secure but it does make me wonder how long it would last before its repeated.

Solihull Moors v Notts County Women.
two players with braces, i was hoping one would get their hattrick. not a bad result for the team. very pleased for them and hope they enjoy the cup success.

Arriving on BlueSky and update on PON socials
i have noticed that a fair amount of fans have mentioned joining blue sky, i think it does make sense to go with the flow and establish differences within the pages. the discord server sounds like a good way to keep us members updated. ????

Who is your Man of the match v Newport?
dont worry, @Fan of Big Tone we know now. i have voted for george abbott because i thought he played well in both halfs and gave a very solid performance. he tried to keep us on the front foot and looked very good on the ball.

Match Discussion: Game 17 - The Exiles (H)
newport came to draw, they had no intention of trying to win. that is disappointing, but there was times when the officials made poor decisions which benefitted them. i dont think they did it on purpose, i just feel they were incompetent. i just wished notts would not insist on walking the ball into the net. i dont mind seeing matt palmer drive an effort over the crossbar because its something different. the issue is we try to force the opening and we need to gamble a little more at times. i also would have kept jevani brown on, sam austin did well in spells but we could have afforded him to be subbed sooner than he did. i also think bringing on kellan gordon did not work, he was quite poor.

The problems of modern day football
clubs treating certain fans better than they do the regular fan. the price involved imo is part of the issue football clubs struggle financially. making it easier to purchase the shirts you want as part of being a season ticket holder, instead of it being a lottery. banning those who purchase large amounts to make profit once they are sold out by sticking them up on ebay. making sure if clubs dont offer a programme that the digital content matches the lost information and media [nothing has increased with notts dropping it].

Match Discussion: Game 17 - The Exiles (H)
it would be good if we could score a few goals and just take the pressure of ourselves as early into the game as possible, the players could then just focus on seeing it our and i think it would help us further progress with the performances. the likeliness of the game being harder is a lot more likely, but i think if things click we could.

Notts County’s Latest Fan Forum: A Deep Dive into Stadium Life, Squad Plans, and Supporter Conduct
i think its productive that the club and board are continuing to look forward, it sounds like the training ground has not been something that notts can secure and with the comments about how using the university facilities i take this as nothing will change for this season at least maybe not even the next. there has to be land within distance to meadow lane which would be ideal for transforming into a training facility but i think the priority of us owning our own until we are further up the pyramid. its good the club is looking outside of the english leagues for talent, we do need a few new additions come the january transfer window but in large its all very positive.

routine day at work, unloading and packing things, storing some and sending others out. i finished on time today, currently deciding if i should have a walk to the nearby chippy or if i should cook something.

Martin Allen: Unleashed – A Must-Attend Event for Notts County Fans
i probably would not be going but i would check in on the podcast if a recorded version is released, i would imagine it would come out for those unable to attend. i think £10, well £11 with the admin fee is a fair price. it should prove to be popular, well done to the magpie circle.

Winter matches do you enjoy them?
i dont mind winter games, so i would not say i dislike this time but once you are mid winter i do look forward to the better weather. the coldness can be a bit much if you dont wrap up. it just tends to mean more games under the floodlights, which i quite like. its just the bitter coldness.

Favourite mince pies
i feel the same way, relatives always try to get me to have one but they are horrible. just not for me.

San Marino
did san marino not win previously? or was that a draw and they had always lost games prior. i am pleased to see such an underdog do well.

They Love Notts in Brazil
i love when foreign commentators turn their commentary up from 10 to 100+ just because of a well worked goal. its good coverage, hope our brazillian friends enjoy it.
