Josh Martin: Stay or Go?
i guess it depends on money. he does look like hes coming into the games more and does seem settled which i know would take time but i do also wonder if @Fan of Big Tone is right about him trying to earn his contract. i would like to think its more about feeling settled and a part of the team, rather than performing better to get a new deal with us or elsewhere. this would make me more minded towards letting him go. yet based on him feeling settled and his recent performance, i think he should stay.

Who is your Man of the Match v Swindon?
i thought david mcgoldrick deserved the man of the match. sam austin, rod mcdonald, george abbott, matty platt and dan crowley were also very good. i think defensively notts were mostly solid but mcgoldrick made the biggest difference.
-
Nottingham County v Sheffield FC
interesting to learn about some of our clubs history, i think if we could arrange a friendly between us and them. that is a very good idea.

How to become a football agent
i wonder how many agents actually deserve the money they earn, i understand the role can help a player. much like a talent agent can take duties off a busy actor, but agents in football tend to seem money grabbers and negative with turning players heads by not having their best interests.

Who is your Man of the Match v Cheltenham?
i thought geroge abbott was class, it was a really good team performance but i do think our midfield won the game. largely due to abbott and dan crowley.

Fans turn on Carlisle's Mike Williamson
if carlisle were higher in league two, i think they could afford mike williamson time but i think his appointment will go down as the wrong time to appoint someone like him. williamson did not look very capable of moving mk dons forward, despite a good team and i think it shows how desperate carlisle were when looking to appoint him. you cant rely on quick fixes in football, but i wish him well because its a difficult scenario to go into.

Match Discussion: Game 22 - The Dons (A)
i felt a bit disappointed with the attention some of our fans gave aaron nemane, players move on and if anything i felt it could backfire on us what with the score remaining level going into the second half. i thought it was a decent game, a lot of comments near to me suggest we have no fire power but we are relying on the strikers a lot and without rest. i was pleased when george abbott took his moment, it was a very well taken goal and the second half was a brilliant display from us.

Trouble At Swansea? edit 17Feb25 Luke Williams sacked
i read yesterday that he said he was keeping away from the dressing room, it all seems very strange and i think its possibly nothing in it but the media playing things into a much bigger thing. swansea are doing well under luke williams, and i think everyone should remember where they were when he arrived and how it took him time to turn the fortunes around. they could and probably should be in league one this season.

Who is your Man of the Match v MK Dons?
i thought matt palmer was class and very unnoticed with his performance, he played a major part in keeping us level and able to go forward.

Who is your Man of the Match v Salford?
david mcgoldrick for me, i felt frustrated when we took him off. it was good to see dan crowley back in the team.

Woking, Notts County XI second home?
i would be concerned if the manager was only able to pull in players from where hes been etc. its not really how to build a team, but i do hope that most of them do well. i like frank vincent but soon they will be able to field a full ex notts squad the rate they are going.

‘It’s a Good Feeling Playing at Home’: Jack Hinchy on Fans’ Energy at Meadow Lane
hes still very young and can only improve, with some of the players we have in the team that should help him. not just matt palmer but the likes of dan crowley, scott robertson and conor grant etc. i like how he comes across and i do hope that he continues from his performance against walsall.

Site & Community Blog Updates
some fans could be offended if you wore the away shirt over the home, i would not worry. provided you are fair and thoughtful, and not doing anything out of spite it should be fine. personally, i laughed several times at your blog. i thought it was very funny!

Who is your Man of the match v Walsall?
i have also voted for david mcgoldrick, for me its between him and matty palmer. jack hinchy did well, but i just dont feel it was anywhere to the standard that mcgoldrick or palmer set.

Prediction league 24/25 round 17 - Saturday 23 November
@Fan of Big Tone chin up, the only way you can go is in that direction. some good rounds and you will be back in the mix easily. ???? i would, but i think you need to be worried about @thommo, @william1984 and @Megan_Elizax overtaking you.

Weekly Chat Mon 2nd - Sun 8th December
i am starting to feel like its cold enough to snow, the yard out back is not a good place to working. even with me being wrapped up, it feels very chilly. the drive to work this morning, i thought there might be chance for a downpour but i have not yet seen any rain. i am counting down the hours until i can get myself home.

Lincoln United v Notts County Women.
will this be a bit of grudge match from the lincoln perspective with us taking their old team to form our own? i know the current womens team is new and seperate to that, but i wonder if lincoln united will resent the fact we slowed down their development or is it a different lincoln? i hope our girls manage to claim the victory!

Return of the seven.
when they do return, there is the chance we might further improve and i think the club really did want to have a good cup run. it was unfortunate that the subs impacted the game, but peterborough was already growing into the game. at least now we can focus on the league, so i dont think we need to worry or dwell on the results. i think we need to try to show the lads we are fully behind them and that includes stuart maynard!

Keep Calm and Count the Injuries: Staying Level-Headed with the Pies
liampie commented on allardyces tash's blog entry in Tune in Next Week: The Ongoing Drama of Notts Countyi think some fans are just worried we wont get promoted and might return to those years were we was average, but it is frustrating to see people question the desire and hunger of our owners. they deserve better than that, the reedtz are greatly responsible for putting us on the right path. we are signing far better players than we would have under previous regimes. this is a good blog, i found it very funny and i hope people dont take the hump. thanks for writing it @allardyces tash.

Match Report: Clinical Walsall Edge Out Notts County in Thrilling 3-2 Encounter
i think the game shows how we need more cutting edge up front, some of this will come with time from the players we have and parts will needed to be added to with signings. the game was not bad, just going down by 2-0 goals in the second half made it difficult to salvage a point. when we did score, we allowed them to retake a 2 goal lead. so late into a game, you are not going to have much luck turning that around.

Match Discussion: Game 18 - The Saddlers (A)
its really just putting the chances we create away, had an earlier effort of ours gone in i think the game would have been different. defensively this season we do play like we can come back from errors, but the two goals walsall first scored mind it difficult for us to get anything out of the game. if we had kept it 2-1, when jack hinchy scored the game would have reflected a fairer outcome. the injuries dont help but we need to play as a team and cut out lack of focus. earlier in the season stuart maynard spoke about being unpredictable but we are in our efforts on goal. dont get me wrong, i am not disappointed but it is frustrating that we did not respond when the game was at 1-0.
