  1. even yeovil fans dont buy their own merchandise, i would laugh my head off if the misspelling made it onto their shirts. we might need to amend how we spell it rightly, if it catches on. ????
  2. one of my favourite alumni articles is that of tony hateley, it told me all i needed and i can see why he made a lasting impression on fans like @Fan of Big Tone.
  3. when i was learning it was suggested to choose automatic but i could not take to it. i dont know, you will probably adjust with time but it felt strange for me that i had no control over the gears. so, i went with manual and im very happy.
  4. i am glad that notts has rejected the bids, but it could lead to higher offers if clubs are desperate enough to add quality to their team. im not concerned all that much, pleased the focus is solely on playing swindon town.
  5. stuart maynard get on the phone to get macca back on loan until the end of the season! if they are signing a striker, it might move him further down the pegging order. strike notts and lets get him back.
  6. i doubt it. the only thing i can find on mihailo ivanovic in the news is from the football league world who are well known for making sensationalised stories. i wonder where the information came from, because i would imagine an italian team going in for him. if not at least a premier league team, millwall would do better persisting with macaulay langstaff.
  7. the nest really is a great way to bring in additional revenue, its very good. @Fan of Big Tone i tried at the grimsby game but ended up leaving once i looked around. its not my thing either, but i can see that its a very good idea.
  8. alan sheehan joined us after being released by swindon town. he had a loan spell before he joined them permanently.
  9. he seems a right character but its great to see him supporting his grandson, here a good video i have seen of lou macari. some funny parts!
  10. the facts do say a lot about jatta, he can be a threat on goal and i can see him being a big part of our squad. he is a good striker that has the ability to score goals in many ways. not picking faults, but it would be nice to see a few more goals from his heading ability, such a tall player would be prime for those types of chances.
  11. i got free tickets from notts at school, i have mentioned this a few times in the past. my dad and uncle tried to get me to show an interest in forest, i was never interested but in very early teens i decided i wanted to take up the free tickets and i have loved notts ever since. even my dad and uncle now go to games, they sit in the pavis and have had season tickets for a few seasons now. my first game, i really enjoyed it and found the fans to be very friendly.
  12. some rumours just make me laugh, if the press start picking up then sometimes it can mean there is something behind it but even they can jump at social accounts spreading false reports. i dont believe it.
  13. i read notts were involved with the offside ruling and throw ins. its nice to see notts being connected to the first sub, i think football is much better with being able to make them but i dont like the new rules that restrict when you can make changes. very interesting fact, @Robbie.
  14. i knew but it was not something i had thought about until now, i dont know much about howard wilkinson but i do know he used to be a manager. i think he played for notts too? not all that sure without looking him up. we should be proud to have 3 ex england managers.
  15. i think lee has given us a good insight into swindon, its difficult sometimes to start well but i think they will improve. i do feel very confident from a notts perspective but we are still working on our away form ourselves. so, swindon might be a bit harder for the fact they are at home and wanting to avoid dropping further points.
  16. hes now come out apologising, saying he thought his text were between consensual adults. it looks like he has been acting flirty and again, sounds like ah stuff without twitter. ????
  17. it is very scary @Robbie, i think robots could serve some purpose but i dont see why we are obsessed with reaching the point that humans have basically reinvented a metal version of ourselves.
  18. i would not have known any difference, but i can see the confusion.
  19. if the womens team can invest in the coaching standard at junior level, one day they will come through to the first team and help to bridge the gap between the standard of players we have compared to the standard of the next level. they are the future and i hope some will make the main team one day.
  20. the standard and expectations further down the leagues are not very good, forgetting your kit should result in points docked. its that tin pot. ????
  21. pukka pies are the only thing i would buy if i was hungry and at a push, i was not aware that notts had stopped selling them. do you have any ideas why? @Piethagoram i thought the pies were pukka ones, but i suppose we could have generic ones now. i cant say i have noticed because like others i eat before or at a restaurant. rather than any of the vans or club offerings.
  22. at the moment its a one horse race, but i think it might start to sway once more members come across this topic and cast their vote.
  23. welcome to the pon site and community @Medz59.
  24. i work long hours to be able to fuel my car, pay my utility bills and food. then have to repeat to make sure i can save money, instead of spending it all. the uk is very poor with helping and making living conditions better. i know there is worst issues that exist, but we are supposed to be one of the best countries. its an unfair increase. i am already agreed to a tariff which is okay for me but the cost of living is too high.
  25. i have been at work, finished at 5pm. come on to check what i have not commented on. also thought to reinvite @jurgenpie and @Tony Wood. both have shared good comments i have seen on facebook and wanted to encourage them to give pon another try. my week days are very much a rerun of the day before.
