Opposition View: Liam Cole on Carlisle United’s Rebuild Under Mike Williamson and Facing Notts County
this is a brilliant opposition view, liam cole has put a lot of effort into these answers and it does make it a very good read. i am looking forward to going carlisle tomorrow, it should be a great game. thank liam for taking the time to answer the question. ????

Welcome to Notts Josh Martin.
he will grow into the team, george abbott needed a full game under him to fully come into the squad and now he looks difficult to be dropped. so, i look forward to seeing more of josh martin. welcome to meadow lane, josh!

Weekly Chat 30th Sept to 6th Oct.
yes, i am taking @TheSkipper and @Joshua. i need to pick lewis up from bostons train station as he will be heading down from manchester. i dont have much to report, work is still very casual and that is enjoyable because there are not many weeks when things are not all hands on. i am looking forward to going to carlisle, i booked the day off from work so that i could leave early. i dont usually book many of my holidays off, as i get extra pay for doing that but any games i cant make i am using the days on them.

September's Player of the Month: Pride of Nottingham
jacob bedeau gets my vote, he has impressed me a lot and i do love those quick balls he plays that releases david mcgoldrick. i think he has been very good during september but its tough.

This Annoys Me About Notts
its all i have ever known, but i do wish more teams would do what luton did. i know its different to the original post, but it saves fans no end of money that could be invested into other areas of the club. personally i think away shirts should be worn away from home, otherwise there is little point in having two shirts.

Notts injury watch.
kellan gordon was allegedly rested due to having played in the efl cup game and said to have been rested for carlisle. if he is injured again, it would be disappointing as he looked good from the minutes he has been given. jatta might return to the bench tomorrow, he has been trying and before the morecambe on the radio it said that he was now training properly, not just on the grass with no heading involvement.

A Strong Rumour.
well the club cant come out and say they dont know, they would want to have all the facts. whatever the media team might say, could only be used in negative peoples blame game. its big news, so they had to handle it well. the issue is those who want to act like they know everything. i am glad that people like chris wait for the facts, because it shows credibility. some of the people who repeated rumours might be innocent, as they may have been given false information but at the same time you just cant say anything. i do think its disrespectful towards jodi too.

Are Pep And Jose That Good?
i think romelu lukaku can be added, but i still think jose is the better manager personally. both are different types of managers tho.

Notts County’s Jodi Jones Declares: ‘I’ll Be Back Stronger’ After Tibia Fracture
i feel sorry for jodi jones, but at least he has the right attitude and his desire to do well should see him come back stronger. i think hes right about the challenge, but referees are not strong enough to protect attacking players. its very annoying, i hope he gets to have some down time with his family during this injury.
-
Pep Guardiola Has Ruined Football ?
i dont like pep all that much, i think hes overrated but i think he just follows what has been happening for years. i think managers who rely on spending silly sums or only wants to manage the best teams in whatever league just shows a lack of faith in their ability. could pep turn things around at manchester united without spending bid?

Halifax Town v Notts County Women
there is nothing wrong with the result, our team gave a good account and managed to pull themselves back into the game. playing a team higher up and only losing by a single goal, its encouraging. hard luck to our players.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Blues (A)
i think we know we need to be brighter and work as a team not just in defence, i am hoping we can work stronger at how we move the ball so that players dont tire chasing after attacks which are unlikely to mount to something. we need to make sure we have multiple passing options moving forward just so that we dont focus to much on passing back. the game is winnable, but we would need to be much better than we were against morecambe, if we can play as we did against them in the 70th minute mark but for longer against carlisle we might just do that.

"A Deserved Point" – Stuart Maynard on Notts County's Tough Draw with Morecambe
had we played more like we did from the 70th minute mark, but sooner we would have won the game but the lads digged deep to win the point. morecambe made it hard, the first half especially and we had some good chances. i think george abbott should have scored his chance, but hes young and will get a goal if he continues to work as hard as he is. i thought stuart maynard the right chances, maybe we needed one or two sooner but thats easy in hindsight.

Who is your Notts man of the match v Morecambe?
i thought he really did deserve it for all his efforts throughout the game. i am pleased fans voted and have so far respected it on social media. Pride of Nottingham - Notts County Community WWW.FACEBOOK.COM ????????Huge congratulations to David McGoldrick for being named Pride of Nottingham’s Man of the Match in yesterday’s 1-1 draw against Morecambe!???? Your performance was outstanding!???? #Notts #COYP...
-
Who is your Notts man of the match v Morecambe?
i thought george abbott and sam austin where very good, but david mcgoldrick was the workhorse against morecambe. he was involved a lot and had to use his experience to help us, had he not been forced into so much work i think he would have been more effective on goal and therefore noticed more but his performance on the pitch was top draw yesterday.

Match Report: Notts County Held to a Frustrating 1-1 Draw at Morecambe
its a little disappointing that it took us so long to get to grips with the game, but morecambe do deserve credit. they made it hard, but we made it harder on ourselves. i think we really need to work on moving the ball forward, where supporting players try to make space. we play far better with the ball on the ground until in a position where a cross can come in.
-
Jacob Bedeau: 'Facing My Former Club Is Special, but Notts County Come First!'
i do think the club is making notts somewhere good players want to be, we seem less of a stepping stone or retirement home and more somewhere players can get their chances to impress. jacob bedeau looks a very good capture already.
-
Match Preview: Morecambe FC Seek Redemption as Notts County Push for Promotion
its going to be a good game, i hope notts can retain the ball well and make real use of it. morecambe have some good players themselves at this level, so despite their form i do think notts needs to manage the game.
-
Stuart Maynard: Morecambe clash a stern test as Notts County seek to bounce back
i have faith not only in this squad to continue to impress and fight for promotion, but also stuart maynard. he has done well, we were unlucky to lose to gillingham. it was mostly out of our control, so if we can step up and work hard to secure a win it would be a good boost.

Notts v Southampton 1974
imagine the stick brian stubbs would get if he did that now, fans would be calling him blind but its easy to happen. its a great clip of notts.
-
Barnsley Women v Notts County Women.
i hope peterborough slip up and we can push closer, i am glad they won their game and that they are doing well. being closer to the top half gives them something to fight for.

Poch In America.
i never thought of him as being an international manager, he seems someone better suited to leagues because of how he prefers to sign players from abroad. i dont know how successful he could be with the US team.
