  1. its the outside part of it that looks wrong, there seems to be glass and a regular structure, with the outer part looking like a shell. it does look ugly. i think it looks like something you would find in holland. like a water treatment centre.
  2. i blinked and missed the first goal, but replaying it it seems the opposition defender got a touch. the second goal was a cross to the far post, no way did he mean to score that.
  3. i wish him all the best with his return to health, i really hope he can and without any form of disability.
  4. i thought that about carlisle but gillingham have been very poor, least not that bad.
  5. provided nottingham panthers finishes above sheffield steelers i think it will be a good thing. i am not all that into hockey but appreciate the level of skill you have to have.
  6. boring day at work but i think some of @Robbie sun has finally reached me. it was a bit nicer today at first, least before it started to rain. not much to say but i am feeling much better. i hope every other member reading this is avoiding bugs and having fun!
  7. i really hope he wins it, hes been in fantastic form this season and deserves to win it at least once. i am not sure many have performed as good as him, though i do think we tend to be overlooked since macca left.
  8. if it is dangerous and not a means of cutting corners on repairs, then i get it but i do think alternative safety measures are explored before closing it.
  9. hes not a bad player, just not really good enough for us or for most teams. rochdale managed to get the best out of him, so i hope shrewsbury can be considering where they are it seems a bit of a strange signing.
  10. hes been a really good signing, crawley town fans sang his praise and you can see just what it means to him. he had a few efforts that have been close, but to see him get off the mark as a notts player is great to see. i hope it gives him a boost in confidence because i get the impression hes the type of player who thrives on finding the net.
  11. once notts does get to grips with how teams play and manages to create chances, normally the performances are very good. its when we struggle to score, that was not the problem against gillingham. first half was very entertaining and david mcgoldrick could easily have gotten a brace. we caused gillingham a lot of headaches, as did they in the second half.
  12. excellent insight into the new signings, what they bring and what the notts gaffer thinks. superb write up @TheSkipper.
  13. i am delighted for nick tsaroulla to get his first goal, as i have said previously hes come close and he had a good amount of goals at crawley. i see no reason why he cant go on and score more, hes a threat out wide with his passing and crosses. as for david mcgoldrick he does keep going. its hard to see him retiring any time soon, not that i want that but at his age you might expect this to be his last.
  14. some interesting facts, i am pleased things picked up from the first one. look at the ride we are now, notts is always a rollercoaster and its just getting to the best bit.
  15. alex bass matt palmer jacob bedeau jodi jones alasanna jatta my last place was torn between matty platt and david mcgoldrick, but i think jatta is very important to the attacking part.
  16. we have seen similar signings being a given a platform for further growth and i am very encouraged by the signing, i think the club have listened this season and due to our position in the league table are wanting to further push for automatic promotion. once his visa clears, we will be in a very strong position with more firepower.
  17. i really dont remember him but i have tried to forget some of the nolan years on purpose, so that could be why.
  18. i am glad its official but we need to quash the rumours that some are speculating that its a replacement for jatta to leave now. stuart maynard has said he dont expect anyone to go and i think that is a good enough reassurance until more concrete news comes out. some fans just panic and had to the gloom, when there is any and is no need for it. have a bit of faith we can get promoted i say.
  19. its odd what is going on with carlisle, they have made no end of signings that now a new manager must work with and there will be limits to what that manager can do. the transfer window would have been better to sack him at the start of than this stage. i don't think it makes much sense to be honest, he seemed the wrong appointment but they were in danger before he arrived. poor deicison.
  20. great to see british athletes doing so well.
  21. centre forward, i just hope this does not kick off rumours of us selling jatta. Maï Traoré - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG
  22. newport county are signing more ex notts players. new county will be my reference to them now, but i wont support them even if they change to wearing black & white.
  23. we will always remember tony hateley and pon will preserve his legacy with the alumni written. brilliant player, its a shame we did not have footage of football back then as we do now.
  24. hello, welcome to the pride of nottingham @John Wardle. its great to have you here.
  25. most of our signings are players who just need to be played in the right environment, but we are good at developing players. we gave kyle wootton the platform to succeed and in comparison we capitalised on how much macaulay langstaff was on fire with gateshead. signed him, then figured out how to change our play slightly to maximise the amount of chances he would get.
