  1. Rawlo, a good player and passionate, was everything we desired in a defender. Even though we’ve moved on, his departure still saddens me. For him, it’s the start of an exciting new chapter. I hope he finds a suitable club to conclude his career. Best of luck, Connell Rawlinson.
  2. Some fans might downplay Macaulay Langstaff’s skills. It’s a combination of their frustration over his potential departure and their attempts to mislead others. But we know he’s top-class. Anyone who truly doubts that doesn’t understand what Langstaff brings to the pitch. People often talk about Paul Mullin, but Langstaff is the complete striker. He does a lot of work off the ball. I’m hoping we can keep him. We say this every season, but if we manage to get promoted to League One, it could change everything.
  3. I’m currently in London, but working from our Manchester office. I’ve been interviewing some of the UK’s top actors. One particular highlight was meeting a former doctor who was very well-dressed and an excellent actor. I'm not trying to boast, just to clarify. I also need to be careful about my employers seeing my comments. London’s hustle and bustle can be overwhelming, with everything moving at a pace ten times faster than usual. It’s hard to find a moment for oneself, but it’s thrilling for my career as a writer. I’ll be heading back to Nottingham on Sunday to spend some time with my parents.
  4. I’m not sure, but it seems like a blend of Gazza’s flashes of brilliance and his father’s talent. He could be a star in the making! The England team could use a practical joker right now, someone to lighten the mood amidst the pressure of performances and results. We just need to steer him clear of the more distressing aspects associated with Paul Gascoigne.
  5. Hello, @BiggestPieInGlasgow! Welcome to PON. If you find it difficult to get to Meadow Lane, which I assume you are based in Glasgow. The Pride of Nottingham is a great place to be, we have many fans all over, and it's a good way to stay in the loop. Glad to have you on board.
  6. Macaulay Langstaff is a crucial part of the team, and any bid should reflect his importance. The club needs to consider whether the fee is adequate. Just because an offer has been made doesn’t mean he’s leaving. We shouldn’t fret, but rather wait and see how things unfold. I have faith in the club and am confident they will make a sensible decision. If the bid is deemed acceptable, we should be prepared to accept it.
  7. My money’s on @super_ram! Apologies, @Fan of Big Tone. I know you’re fond of your jogging and exercise, but I’ve heard from an unnamed source that Super has strength and a bit of a mean streak. To tell the truth, I find great pleasure in contributing to PON. Being a writer can sometimes be exhausting, but this is my outlet. I genuinely feel at home here.
  8. Phil Foden is a big Gazza fan.
  9. Without a doubt, his signing is crucial given his experience. It seems he was likely to join an EFL club, and I am glad it’s us. He brings a wealth of experience from playing overseas. It’s encouraging to know that we are building a squad with individuals who can take control of the ball, put pressure on the opposition, and get things moving. He should be a fantastic signing for us.
  10. I'm glad that England have done the right thing by allowing him. I mean, I bet most players would leave either way, but some managers might be bitter about things like this. I believe if it's a boy, it will be called Paul.
  11. Great to see things are continuing to improve. The FAQs should really help; new members should find them useful. I'm looking forward to seeing PON have its best season yet.
  12. I don't know much about his career, but I do know he's capable at League Two level. He helped Woking, who were struggling under Michael Doyle. You don't play overseas unless you have something special. He might not have the pedigree of John Bostock, but he's influential and works hard. I've heard he's very good at picking up the ball, which is ideal since we need to be stronger in this area.
  13. You just know that betting on Notts never pays off. Even with the best intentions, it always goes against you. Those odds are good, but I wouldn't risk it due to superstition. I'd rather watch how the season goes and celebrate our achievements, knowing that I didn't lose a bet.
  14. If it were up to me, he’d be my pick for captain, as he’s the first name I’d put on the team sheet. He carries out his midfield duties without any bother, gets involved and takes pride in always giving his all. He’s a natural footballer who plays like a true champ on the pitch. We’ve certainly noticed his absence after his injury, but coming through that, he’ll no doubt be stronger. I reckon teams will have a tough time handling him on the pitch.
  15. Happy Birthday @Fan of Big Tone! I trust you’ve celebrated with something memorable. Here’s to a fantastic day that’ll stay with you for years to come.
  16. The platform we’re providing is the most thrilling I’ve experienced as a Notts supporter. It genuinely seems like the club is progressing well, and that’s down to everyone involved. The Reedtz brothers are focused on bringing in the right players, and their efforts to enhance the club’s prospects are evident. Nick Tsaroulla certainly thrived at Crawley, and it’s our turn to foster his success. Crawley developed a fantastic part of Nick’s play, and I’m eager to see him in action for Notts.
  17. Quality Signing: Nick Tsaroulla’s arrival at Meadow Lane is a quality signing. His abundant talent suggests that he could become one of the standout acquisitions of the summer. While his presence surprises me, it’s evident that Notts County is actively constructing a formidable team. This approach appeals to players seeking both improvement and valuable experience. Overall, a great signing!
  18. Settling in Nottingham: It’s heartening to learn that Tsaroulla intends to settle in Nottingham. This commitment bodes well for the club, especially considering his age. Having him around for several more years would be beneficial. His signing not only promises personal growth but also has the potential to spur players like Tiernan Brooks to elevate their abilities further.
  19. This is a significant acquisition for Notts, especially considering he could have made the leap to League One. His ambition, likely spurred by ending up at the bottom of the table, is probably why he wanted to move on. He’s been an excellent player for Morecambe and at just 24 years old, he could become a crucial part of the defence for the foreseeable future. I’m thrilled with the signing, Notts must have moved swiftly to secure it!
  20. This is a positive move for Matt Palmer. The approach should be gradual and cautious to prepare him for the upcoming season. He plays a significant role in Notts’ success, so his return will certainly make a difference. He’s a rare gem for a club like ours - a highly skilled footballer who consistently delivers steady performances.
  21. You know, I need to update my Twitter bio and include a link to my PON blog. I didn’t post my latest blog and I asked the boss not to do it for me because I wanted to see how far it could reach and if readers would share it. I write out of love, not for views and clicks. While comments are nice, I’m proud to be here. I’ll think about this idea and see how I can contribute. Young supporters should know they’re welcome here and won’t be turned away.
  22. In my view, our options are limited and letting Stuart Maynard go won’t help because I foresee the form being inconsistent until this season’s end. If Notts appoints a new manager, how much time will these critics give the new hire? Will they, as usual, reverse their stance and criticise the appointment, arguing that we should have stuck with Stuart Maynard? This happens often when we go through the cycle of changing managers. Some supporters need to realise how common it is for teams returning from the National League to start strong but lose their way as the season goes on, as this is also extremely typical. While some teams do well, more will experience significant dips, and the majority struggle from the start. As I see it, The Reedtz deserve some leniency and understanding that the club is working towards their goals. It might not happen immediately, but anything worthwhile usually requires patience. We could easily swap Maynard for someone who might not perform any better, and in my view, it’s a bigger risk to take that chance. Notts spent four years outside of the Football League, and we’ve had a variety of managers, but our owners have demonstrated a knack for spotting a good manager. It’s not working out so far, but that doesn’t mean all or most of the blame should be placed on the easiest target. I believe what we’re experiencing now can only be endured and strengthened out of season. Giving Maynard and the Reedtz the benefit of the doubt, a review at the season’s end could lead to better outcomes. He’s learning on the job, and the players are more accountable for the losses, but that doesn’t mean we should turn against them either.
  23. Thank you for all the reads and remarks. I hope you thought about sharing it as I didn’t post or share links to it elsewhere, mainly because I wanted members to spread the word. The goal was to provide insight into our current form and situation. I’m happy with how most fans behaved in our recent home match against AFC Wimbledon. That loss was beyond our control, even though the own goal didn’t help, but that’s football. Notts played well and if they maintain that standard, we should be back to winning soon.
  24. I value your hard work in keeping this going, even when some rounds are skipped or missed. It’s a top-notch prediction league and a standout feature for PON.
  25. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been in hospital and unwell. The pain you’re experiencing sounds distressing, but I hope you’re being looked after. I won’t tag you as it might be overwhelming, but like others, I care and wish you all the best.
