  1. @CliftonMagpie might not be chuffed, as heโ€™s often mentioned how heโ€™d welcome Tom Crawford back. Heโ€™s a solid player, and I wouldnโ€™t have minded if Notts chose to re-sign him. There are certainly worse signings we could make, but this move probably suits Tom better.
  2. Itโ€™s astonishing how weโ€™ve gone from struggling to attract fans to this. Itโ€™s a testament to the hard work everyone puts into the club. Our fan base is the real heroes, most fans are brilliant and very friendly, which makes it easier for new fans to take an interest in Notts. I hope we can sell another hundred or so tickets.
  3. Itโ€™s a welcome change. I wasnโ€™t the biggest fan of the pin-striped shirt we had during our promotion season. I mean, I have it, and it grew on me, but I took an instant liking to this one. I hope the club keeps the stock up, as it should sell well. This might be another year when I buy both the home and away shirts!
  4. Itโ€™s hard to imagine two more suitable individuals to take on the roles of global moderators within our community. Itโ€™s a brilliant sight to see, and Iโ€™m over the moon to witness the team expanding. A warm welcome to the team, @Piethagoram, and at last, youโ€™re back where you truly belong, @Fan of Big Tone.
  5. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham @Bertinez. See you around the community!
  6. Since falling behind 1-0, England have shown more initiative. There was a nerve-wracking moment when Slovakia took a shot at an open goal. The quality of play has improved; they just need to find the back of the net. With Cole Palmer now on the pitch, I believe we will see more energy in their pursuit of a goal. We need a spark of genius, something to bring us back on equal footing. Itโ€™s disheartening to be trailing, but the match has undoubtedly become more engaging.
  7. We have fond recollections of Connell Rawlinson. In our initial two seasons in the National League, he was exceptional and formed part of the bedrock of the squad that led to our success. His towering stature, sound judgement, keen awareness, and fearless approach made him a stalwart in defence. While it may be time to bid him farewell and conclude his journey with us, it also marks the start of a new chapter for him, one that we wish him all the best with.
  8. We extend our heartfelt thanks to you, Connell Rawlinson. Your service to Notts has been commendable and has given us numerous moments to treasure. Despite your departure, your time as a player here will be remembered for your courage and relentless effort in your performances. We hope that you find a club where the fans will embrace you just as we have. You are deserving of regular play and we wish you the best of luck in achieving that. Your journey with us may be ending, but your legacy will continue to inspire.
  9. Rawlo, a good player and passionate, was everything we desired in a defender. Even though weโ€™ve moved on, his departure still saddens me. For him, itโ€™s the start of an exciting new chapter. I hope he finds a suitable club to conclude his career. Best of luck, Connell Rawlinson.
  10. Some fans might downplay Macaulay Langstaffโ€™s skills. Itโ€™s a combination of their frustration over his potential departure and their attempts to mislead others. But we know heโ€™s top-class. Anyone who truly doubts that doesnโ€™t understand what Langstaff brings to the pitch. People often talk about Paul Mullin, but Langstaff is the complete striker. He does a lot of work off the ball. Iโ€™m hoping we can keep him. We say this every season, but if we manage to get promoted to League One, it could change everything.
  11. Iโ€™m currently in London, but working from our Manchester office. Iโ€™ve been interviewing some of the UKโ€™s top actors. One particular highlight was meeting a former doctor who was very well-dressed and an excellent actor. I'm not trying to boast, just to clarify. I also need to be careful about my employers seeing my comments. Londonโ€™s hustle and bustle can be overwhelming, with everything moving at a pace ten times faster than usual. Itโ€™s hard to find a moment for oneself, but itโ€™s thrilling for my career as a writer. Iโ€™ll be heading back to Nottingham on Sunday to spend some time with my parents.
  12. Iโ€™m not sure, but it seems like a blend of Gazzaโ€™s flashes of brilliance and his fatherโ€™s talent. He could be a star in the making! The England team could use a practical joker right now, someone to lighten the mood amidst the pressure of performances and results. We just need to steer him clear of the more distressing aspects associated with Paul Gascoigne.
  13. Hello, @BiggestPieInGlasgow! Welcome to PON. If you find it difficult to get to Meadow Lane, which I assume you are based in Glasgow. The Pride of Nottingham is a great place to be, we have many fans all over, and it's a good way to stay in the loop. Glad to have you on board.
  14. Macaulay Langstaff is a crucial part of the team, and any bid should reflect his importance. The club needs to consider whether the fee is adequate. Just because an offer has been made doesnโ€™t mean heโ€™s leaving. We shouldnโ€™t fret, but rather wait and see how things unfold. I have faith in the club and am confident they will make a sensible decision. If the bid is deemed acceptable, we should be prepared to accept it.
  15. My moneyโ€™s on @super_ram! Apologies, @Fan of Big Tone. I know youโ€™re fond of your jogging and exercise, but Iโ€™ve heard from an unnamed source that Super has strength and a bit of a mean streak. To tell the truth, I find great pleasure in contributing to PON. Being a writer can sometimes be exhausting, but this is my outlet. I genuinely feel at home here.
  16. Phil Foden is a big Gazza fan.
  17. Without a doubt, his signing is crucial given his experience. It seems he was likely to join an EFL club, and I am glad itโ€™s us. He brings a wealth of experience from playing overseas. Itโ€™s encouraging to know that we are building a squad with individuals who can take control of the ball, put pressure on the opposition, and get things moving. He should be a fantastic signing for us.
  18. I'm glad that England have done the right thing by allowing him. I mean, I bet most players would leave either way, but some managers might be bitter about things like this. I believe if it's a boy, it will be called Paul.
  19. Great to see things are continuing to improve. The FAQs should really help; new members should find them useful. I'm looking forward to seeing PON have its best season yet.
  20. I don't know much about his career, but I do know he's capable at League Two level. He helped Woking, who were struggling under Michael Doyle. You don't play overseas unless you have something special. He might not have the pedigree of John Bostock, but he's influential and works hard. I've heard he's very good at picking up the ball, which is ideal since we need to be stronger in this area.
  21. You just know that betting on Notts never pays off. Even with the best intentions, it always goes against you. Those odds are good, but I wouldn't risk it due to superstition. I'd rather watch how the season goes and celebrate our achievements, knowing that I didn't lose a bet.
  22. If it were up to me, heโ€™d be my pick for captain, as heโ€™s the first name Iโ€™d put on the team sheet. He carries out his midfield duties without any bother, gets involved and takes pride in always giving his all. Heโ€™s a natural footballer who plays like a true champ on the pitch. Weโ€™ve certainly noticed his absence after his injury, but coming through that, heโ€™ll no doubt be stronger. I reckon teams will have a tough time handling him on the pitch.
  23. Happy Birthday @Fan of Big Tone! I trust youโ€™ve celebrated with something memorable. Hereโ€™s to a fantastic day thatโ€™ll stay with you for years to come.
  24. The platform weโ€™re providing is the most thrilling Iโ€™ve experienced as a Notts supporter. It genuinely seems like the club is progressing well, and thatโ€™s down to everyone involved. The Reedtz brothers are focused on bringing in the right players, and their efforts to enhance the clubโ€™s prospects are evident. Nick Tsaroulla certainly thrived at Crawley, and itโ€™s our turn to foster his success. Crawley developed a fantastic part of Nickโ€™s play, and Iโ€™m eager to see him in action for Notts.
  25. Quality Signing: Nick Tsaroullaโ€™s arrival at Meadow Lane is a quality signing. His abundant talent suggests that he could become one of the standout acquisitions of the summer. While his presence surprises me, itโ€™s evident that Notts County is actively constructing a formidable team. This approach appeals to players seeking both improvement and valuable experience. Overall, a great signing!
