@Fan of Big Tone i think its safe to say until we can beat them, they are a bogey team for us.

I read that when we played them before we had lost both games, I didn't know about the fourth. You come across some interesting things when you write up previews etc.

Hopefully, we can beat them at Meadow Lane later in the season.

We need to defeat them next time, otherwise they won't be a team some fans will want to see us play.

Oh crikey, we have never beaten them at home either. Nor did we ever beat Wimbledon FC (we only spent two seasons in the same division as them mind). That's most definitely a bogey team, and to my mind one of only two League teams we've never beaten (alongside Fleetwood).

Is our record against them really this poor? We missed an opportunity to set things right at the weekend. I don’t want to see us lose after conceding four goals to them anytime soon. I hope we thrash them at Meadow Lane.

Yeah, that’s not a statistic you want to hold. It’s going to be a while before we manage to beat them at home. I can’t envision us finding them to be an easy opponent.

Just a shout out for @ARLukomski excellent VBlog on the Wimbledon game. Spot on, but I would question the 2nd best defence in the National League?...when we had the 2nd worst defence based on the 30% we didn't have possession of the ball!!!

The only team we conceded more than was Boreham Wood. 42 goals conceded last season

That's because we held the ball more, which is also part of defending. If they cannae get the ball, they cannae score a goal.
