My weekend is planned out already, tomorrow we have our grandchildren staying over night, @George L will come with me to the match while Fred stays with his Granny. Games or a film with them Saturday night and Sunday when they’ve gone home, it’ll be all action stations getting packed for our flight to Lanzarote on Monday.

Whats everyone else doing this weekend?

Well, there’s a coincidence @Fan of Big Toneas I’m currently in Lanzarote at the moment! Will be flying back on Monday as well, so I’ll probably be getting on the plane you’re getting off of you’re flying from East Mids with Jet2. If you are, don’t make a mess!!! ????

lol, yes we are flying out 10.30 Monday, I’ll try and not make a mess. Where have you been staying? We are trying Costa Teguise this year we normally do Puerto del Carmen.

Whats the weather like?

I'm picking up a colleague from Heathrow who's flying in from Michigan tomorrow at 9am... then it's up the M25 / M1 to the San Sirrel for the his first experience of a 'proper' English football match.  Then it's back to Thanet via Heathrow .  Sunday is simply a long run and then spending some time with the girls.  Simple. but tiring weekend.

@Ohh Tommy Johnson I hope your colleague enjoys the match, maybe a new American Pie?

Maybe - he was thinking of heading to the Wrexham game but I put a stop to that! He's been watching 'Welcome to Wrexham' so we aren't a completely unknown entity.  He is really excited, so I hope the match lives up to it!  His team the 'Wolverines' play in College Football (American) and sell out their 110 000 stadium every game.  I have told him that the Notts experience should be almost identical!!

We’re up in Matagorda, only come for a few days winter sun as the opportunity arose and it was cheap!

Weather is beautiful at the moment, wall to wall sun and around 22-23 degrees. Met a chap yesterday who has been here for 3 weeks so far with another week to go, don’t think I could stay that long as I’m normally ready to come home after 5 days.

I am hoping to feel well enough to go to tomorrow's game. Right now I would go. I really want to get back to snapping the Faces of PON, but I won't rush. I won't say anything about Sunday, but I do hope that it involves family time.

Can I ask what is going on here? Have we transformed into a travel and holiday platform all of a sudden? Tony is corrupting people.

@Fozzy What are you doing in Lanzaroti again? ????

I hope you are at least relaxing somewhere nice, shaded but able to keep an eye on Notts. ;)

@Ohh Tommy Johnson Michigan??? At least you know best and are on your way to San Sirrel for tomorrow's game.

@Chris He is coming over from a place called Kalamazoo (a fantastic name if you ask me)  to a meeting in Ireland and the flight stops over in Heathrow.  He was going to watch a Wrexham game, as I say, but I said he would be better off watching us, so he rearranged the meeting to come over this weekend. We are going to be in the Kop so he can get the full atmosphere.  It's a shame Barrow will only bring a taxi load, but it should still be fun!

A question to ask How long does it take to get out of the parking lot? @Ohh Tommy Johnson

There's very little parking there apparently, but local people rent their drives and front gardens.  One of his friends makes about $500 a game.  The whole neighbourhood snarls up so they have tailgate parties out clears.

We had a great time.

i went to see notts yesterday, ended up going to have something to eat in town with @CliftonMagpie and @TheSkipper. it was good to get back to meadow lane, plus catch up with two good friends.

today, i have been to my mums and fetched her shopping. right now i am relaxing watching the tv.

On Friday, I took the train from Manchester to Nottingham. My dad collected me from the station and I returned to my parents’ house. Saturday was match day, which was a fairly ordinary game. I enjoyed the socialising afterwards, especially seeing Liam and Thomas. On Sunday, I spent time with my family before catching an evening train back to Manchester.
