The club might be able to offer better prices by collaborating more with Magpie Brewery. They should maintain their current selection but also introduce some local beers for variety. However, the high prices could exclude many fans. The Nest shouldn’t be exclusive to the wealthy; it should welcome all supporters. The necessity of charging for standing room is questionable. While the club can find ways to generate revenue, it seems unreasonable when there are complimentary venues that are just as pleasant. Our goal should be to unite our fans in one place, all eagerly cheering on the team.

Just had an email from Notts  advertising for the England game against Slovakia.

Notts have already sold 600 tickets.

The Nest is proving to be a good off season money spinner for Notts.

I totally Agree with you regarding your points about the Nest. It should be a Place were Notts Fans can come together to support the Team. It's Sold Out Screams the Headline. However what happens when the Euro's Finish? Or when the Novelty wares off and the Honeymoon Period Finishes? and it's just down to Notts Fans to keep the place going?

I told a Mate of mine who is a Regular at the Navigation, it costs him £3 a pint for his favourite Beer , that means he can have three beers and some change out of a Tenner he'll have to pay to sit down in the Nest.

The Club also Missed A Huge Opportunity  to connect  more with the Magpies faithful. Why didn't they run a couple of Competitions regarding Naming The Fan Zone? Plus they could have asked Fans to Design the Logo for the Nest Have different Age groups  all the Winning Designs could have been Framed and hung in the Nest and the Ultimate Winner their Design would be placed outside at the Nest Front. And I'm Pretty sure it would have cost a lot less than the Hiring of a Graphic Artist who designed the Monstrosity which Now Welcomes Fans.

I believe the current prices are for premium events, so I can’t envision the club charging Notts fans these rates on match days. At least, that’s what I’ve heard, and it seems logical. It wouldn’t make sense to charge Notts fans those prices for league games. Therefore, I’m quite content with The Nest. It’s genuinely a nice place.

The Nest is fantastic. It’s going to be a significant source of revenue for Notts. I believe it can only bring good things.

The thing about the Nest is that it's Never been fully explained what happens to the place when there's No Premier Events taking place E.G the Euro's . Will Notts Fans still have to pay a Fiver to stand or a Tenner to sit down on Match Day? If so it's going to drive a lot of Families away, No  Cash payments may also be a cause for concern.

So once the Euro's are finished hopefully the Club will make a Statement detailing what is going to happen at the Nest what events are planned etc, but most important  what it's going to Cost the Ordinary Fan.

I would have thought that having a Season ticket would allow free admission 7 days a week except admission to a special event.

For non season ticket holders, having a match ticket should grant free admission on match days to Notts Supporters only

If That's not the case, it will be dissapointing.

I sincerely hope that Notts doesn’t impose high prices on our loyal supporters. It would be beneficial to keep things accessible and gradually ensure that Notts owns all the food stalls. However, these stalls should be operated by independent individuals. This approach could generate more revenue, rather than just taking a percentage of the earnings for the space occupied. It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved.

I agree with @CliftonMagpie’s point about engaging with local breweries, I’d like to see some proper real ale in there from somewhere like Castle Rock Brewery or similar at a reasonable price that the ordinary fan can afford and I really hope you don’t have to pay to get in on match day.

The Magpie Brewery, conveniently located next door, could potentially collaborate with local businesses in Nottingham and even the wider East Midlands area. The Nest, in my opinion, is a significant accomplishment for the club. Providing us fans with our own space is truly commendable.

The Nest was absolutely buzzing tonight! The response to England’s victory was fantastic. If you haven’t experienced it yet, I’d recommend giving it a go. While the price is on the higher side, it’s well worth it for an enjoyable evening.

So pleased the Nest has done so well today. It was a smart investment move by Notts and it is going to be a very lucrative business arm of Notts County.

Pleased that England are thru too, because the Nest will be full again for England v Switzerland.

It will be nice to see the facilities under normal circumstances and not just for the Euros. It will be impressive to see them packed with our own fans.

What a great move by Notts to get the Nest up and running for Euro 24.

It's definitely going to be rocking on Sunday for the final.

Absolutely @Robbie I’m so pleased for England but so pleased for Notts as well, they must be making a mint and giving lots of fans a lot of enjoyment.

I reckon we're looking at over £100k in revenue from these Euros alone. Even when you factor out costs I imagine it's been a nice earner for the club.
