It was a solid victory. Swindon Town could have made it difficult to score, let alone twice. If they had played defensively after scoring, the game could have been frustrating. However, it was encouraging to see Notts respond by trying to equalise. The winning goal came at the perfect time! Our fans were excellent at times, but I think we could be a bit louder.

@menzinho Swindon played an effective press. Yes, some of our passing was sloppy.... but we defended robustly. Can't win pretty every game.

Notts put in a commendable defensive display against a dominant Swindon Town side. While Swindon controlled much of the play, they rarely threatened our goal. McGoldrick's goals were exceptional strikes with both feet! It was a determined performance and a valuable three points against a team we rarely beat away from home.

Palmer is beginning to look more like his old self in midfield. This is a new-look Notts County side that is still finding its rhythm, but the signs are encouraging. You Pies!

Happy with the win, still work to do imo, but it's results that matter.

Th victory over Swindon Town showed our resilience and determination. The team fought back from a deficit, scoring twice to secure a hard-earned win. While Swindon Town played some attractive football, they struggled to create significant scoring opportunities against Notts' resolute defence. Although our passing could have been more precise at times, the victory on the road and the spirited performance were encouraging signs.

David McGoldrick was the hero of the game, delivering a strong performance and contributing crucial goals. His contributions highlight his value to the team and his ability to make a difference in important matches. Overall, this victory was a positive step forward for Notts, demonstrating their potential and their ability to overcome challenges.

It was a good win, especially because we were away from home. Swindon Town played some nice football, but I think Notts were much better defensively. Both teams had chances. We kept the ball well, but we didn't always use it effectively. Sometimes Notts gave the ball away too easily.

i felt pleased with the win, both teams played well and a draw might have been a fairer score but it showed how notts can turn these types of games into wins. its good to see how defensive we stood strong, as it gave us the platform to go forward. we might have lost this lost season, i hope we can build on it.

No complaints here. Even if it had ended 1-1, I’d still be happy because there are plenty of signs that the club is heading in the right direction.

At this level, and in a season where you're aiming for the top, you take these results. It's not always about playing great football; we need to get the job done and collect as many points as possible. I was impressed by Notts' grit yesterday. Some people say we were terrible, but that's not true at all.

Both goals show David McGoldrick's class. Those are top-class shots. They're both equally good. They're very well-placed, with a bit of skill before he decides where to place it.

I have to admit, I had my reservations about the starting line-up, and I wasn't aware that Jatta had been ruled out. I did wonder why he wasn't on the bench. It was more about what would have happened if David McGoldrick had to go off, than starting. I know we could have pushed Cedwyn Scott up top, it highlights the importance of having someone as back up, or can fill in the position.

I noticed Swindon Town had scored, then that it was 1-1. I didn't feel all that great, so I didn't listen to the commentary.

It was a very good win, I did see the stats early on when it was 1-0 and at the end. It doesn't sound like either team were bad, just that we took our chances. I am going to watch the full highlights, so I can see the game in more detail.

It was a good football match. Notts were a bit more patient in building up their play, while Swindon tried to move the ball too quickly. Both teams made poor passes, but that's what League Two is like. What really impressed me was how Notts got back into the game. They played passing football and moved into the right areas. Both of David McGoldrick's goals were well-finished. The game wasn't bad at all. Both teams were fighting for the points and didn't want to settle for a draw.
