This was a very exciting match but who deserves to be named man of the match?

I'd have to say G Thompson because goals win games, however I feel everyone had a good game.

G Jones showing he still has legs left in him, chasing down the ball and winning a lot of possession with some good distribution.

Both the wingers, Zeli and McLaughlin were a constant threat throughout the game.  We could easily have scored 3-4 more goals with the crosses they supplied.

It's a good situation where so many players are up for man of the match

Yes Gary Thompson gets my vote too. Hat trick hero playing out of position it's got to be him.

From listening to Uncle Colin and reading reports on Notts matches I think there was really only one candidate for this award.Well done Roy.I Have noticed that positive reports on other players are gradually increasing. Hopefully next month the mid fielders and  forwards will be vying for the award and Roy doesn't  have so much to do.

The above was my comment for the last Man of the Month. So yes @Cobby a good situation.

Hat trick means mom but Jones came a close second for me. Ran everything down and anchored the team.

Thanks for starting and doing this @super_ram.

I had to vote for G Thompson, not C Thompson but G Thompson. @Cobby will get this, I felt he was superb and he should have secured that position for our game against Barnsley. We need a goal scorer and he seems to fit the bill, people questioned it before hand but they didn't after the game!

Brilliant performance.

The young "red-un" for me, tormented his full back all afternoon according to Colin, and provided the ammunition for the others....

Yeah, I have to go with the majority here and say that thompson deserves it.

First time in awhile I agree with who the sponsors give it to.

Well deserved. I sit near the tunnel and he looked as proud as punch walking off with the ball. It was his first ever hat trick and after the match he said to uncle Colin that his wife might have to sleep in the spare room because he was taking the ball to bed with him. Lol.
