What did you think of the referee v Walsall? Did he do alright? What was his key moments?

Be constructive, honest and tell us what you think.

Only one moment tbh. Was it in the box or not? From my seat in the DP, I would say poor decision , but honestly I would need a level seat or a replay on tv.

Not a lot else for him to do. As a home fan I would rate him low, but that would be pure biased home opinion.

I'd rate his performance a 6.8.

He wasn't really very consistent for me. Some of Walsall's challenges deserved cards, two of their players had some sort of foot related problem because they would drop like flies and free kicks to us was given (yet no cards). Bradshaw disappointed me for this reason, I feel the ref should have called some of these, as it would have stopped him.

Overall he was much better than the majority who visit the lane.

One of the assistance was very dodgy though.

I thought he was pretty good overall, I have seen a lot worse to be honest.

The major talking point of course was the penalty I straight away said it was out the box and therefore a free kick but I'm situated on the half way line.

I've heard elsewhere from others who were level who said the ref first of all gave a free kick but changed his mind when the lino gave the pen and it was definitely inside so a pen.

8/10 for the ref for me.

8/10 for me.

At the time I felt it was not a penalty and that for me was the only decision which I questioned. It turns out the ref called it spot on!:angel:

Yes, that'd be interesting I thought he would have been bursting to come on here and give us his view of the game. :)

He's made a couple of comments on Joe Jones's match report.

I felt he was quite average, nothing special. He controlled the game the best that you would expect but that said, it was not a difficult game to officiate.

I'll go along with the sort of 7.5 - 8 level.

From what i heard he wasn't a very consistant or good ref, could have been worse but certainly not that observant.

Considering, we always get poor refs (or something like that) from what you have said, we have just had our decent quota for this season
