Best of luck to him. Still think it will only be interim. Think they will be looking again at the end of the season, ready for next year. Especially if we got through the play offs.

Yes goodluck to him.

He has my support and I won't make a comment against him, we need to move on with the win. So, I will be chanting his name along with the players. Will be at the nrxt game but will take a blanket. :)

I've been impressed with him so far, so best of luck to him. Maybe he can do a Di Matteo...?

his attitude towards changes and the way he monitors games impresses me but i am also disappointed. will support him as others have said but it's hard to get over curle's sacking with no real replacement. i hope he does well!

I'm happy for Chris to be given the chance until the end of the season after last night's 2nd half performance. There's still enough matches left for him to prove himself as a capable manager.

We've got nothing to lose from this appointment and gives Kiwomya a great chance to prove what he can do. Really enjoy his interviews, comes across as a very thoughful and tactically minded man.

I agree, we have nothing to lose and hopefully a lot to gain. I hope use this as a spring-board to better things and hopefully if we get a good result on Tuesday the lads can focus, grow confidence but most importantly enjoy their football.

Good decision in my opinion. Some people have called it 'short sighted' but I believe it would have been more 'short sighted' to just pick up another known name from the managerial merigoround, and it would be more expensive. CK has done an excellent job in his time at the helm so far, and now he has that first win under his belt hopefully the team can push on.

The good thing is the players can now settle down and hopefully play how we know they can, the uncertainty has been removed.

As others have said let's hope this win is a turning point, I think it's too late to make the playoffs but you never know.

It will be interesting to see what happens at Tranmere on Tuesday.Notts were superb in the second half against Bury scoring 4 but Tranmere scored 5 away at Colchester who are 1 place above Bury in the basement. Both Notts and Tranmere should now both be full of confidence.Good luck to Notts and CK.

Hopefully we can now get on with the matches ahead and get a few more wins in. Chris seems to spot ways to improve in the second half of most games and the team then plays better. I hope he keeps it up.

I hope Chris takes the momentum and chance with both hands, I would also suspect that the lads are quite high after scoring 4 (even tho it was against struggling Bury) It's the early minutes really, the first half we need to focus.

Yes, Notts will be full of confidence but so will Tranmere they won 5-1 away at Colchester at the weekend. Should be a good match and a fair indication as to where we are going with Chris in charge.

Bit harsh William. Let's give him a chance first eh?

I think maybe the board were thinking to give Kiwomya the job and see how he goes then maybe appoint a more experienced manager in the close season but if Chris does well then there is no reason why he can't earn a two or three year contract with the club. I for one hope he succeeds because if he does that will mean Notts are succeeding too.

He has had a lot of personal tradegy just lately and he deserves a break.

Agreed, I think the thing about Williams comment is that this could very well be short term. He might do enough for us to get someone else in, I for one think he's doing well too. It's a balance of if he's good enough to go further, so we will see but William tends to view things like this.

We can't build until next season anyway.

Give Chris a chance!
