Favourite dessert/puddings

Featured Replies

What are your favourite deserts/puddings? Do they differ at home compared to restaurants? My my main pudding is Apple Pie! You can't beat it. Ice Cream or Custard, its just nice!

Desert good old Knickerblocker Glory!

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Hmm that's a difficult one, Mrs H makes a cracking Trifle but to be honest I love all puddings/sweets, treacle pudding, fruit pies, ice cream sundaes etc.

On the recent cruises I've been on they do brilliant sweets that not only taste good but look fabulous.

Apple Pie is the classic but I do also like Apple Crumble, I think I'd sway more for the latter myself.

Dessert - Strawberry Sundays :D

Panna Cotta.

Tiramisau.

I like Italian food in general. Tiramisau is hard to get right. It should be moist but not soaked. Panna Cotta is best served with raspberry or strawberry. I eat a lot of it in Rome and it was spot on where ever I ate.

I love custard and sponge, I used to make it fresh in the care home I worked and they wanted seconds! Basic sponge with good custard, with a layer of warm - homemade jam in the middle.

Yummy! :D

Mouse is also a favourite of mine.

Our cat also likes mouse but as a main course followed by a saucer of milk.

Rhubarb crumble. Or baklava, as long as the top is nice and crispy.
