  1. 1. In the long run would it be better for Notts to go down this season and rebuild in the 4th?

No way would it be. We definitely need to stay up! Remember too many away games biting me nails to the quick at Wrexham, Bury etc.

Definitely need to stay in League 1. COYP You can do this!

I don't think we should go down because it took us awhile to go up in the first place. We would only find it hard to attract a manager and players. We would be better trying to get some consistency to the team and form. Lots of loan players coming and going won't help.

Because the same budget is more competitive, the opposition teams are poorer in many senses, crowds prefer to watch winning football and the owner has always said it's easier to finance a club in the 4th and the 2nd rather than the 3rd division.

I think having the buffer of league 2 is the only thing keeping me sane. If we were to get relegated, with football the way it is, there is always the chance we could still struggle and going out of the football league, which is unthinkable (thankfully this hasn't been an issue for a few years now)!

Last time we went down I consoled myself with the thought that at least we'd be challenging towards the top and winning a few matches. My only experience of the 4th division up to then was the championship-winning season under Big Sam. I wasn't expecting a repeat, but at least a play-off challenge. We all know what followed. I never, ever want to see that division again.

Or is someone pining for Field Mill? ;)

It shouldn't be decided until the final outcome in my opinion, however I voted no. If the only positive outcome behind relegation is that we can rebuild, then we really do need to figure out a way to making this something doable within League One and NOW.

I mean I do believe that relegation won't be all that bad, that said I would hope we fight for place within League One.

Undoing all the negatives to go forward, can be done no matter what league you play in. I have decided that it's probably best to get behind Paul Hart now, give him the time to end this season and then once the final game is finished - Get in the manager who can move us forward, the person who can bring us that stability and once we have had a manager who remains as that for at least two seasons - The more wrong will be rewritten. We must do more to aid the academy, so that we can bring through youngsters and once they sign pro - get them the best experience possible.

Safe the more talented youngsters to feature on the bench/come in as and when required.

However, nothing will change until we have the right manager who can move us forward.

The clubs just got to learn at the end of the day, football's a tough business but I believe we have the foundations to strive forward, it will just take someone with that creativity to realize how to do so.

Relegation isn't a nightmare but the fear is that we won't learn, only for this to be repeated! Where do you draw the line? Hey, perhaps relegation to the conference wouldn't be a bad thing either? We can REALLY rebuild then or end up totally destroyed. The fact is we need fans, League Two won't help with that unless we win each week and I don't think unless we have another munto benefactor much will be different.

I don't want that, I really don't.
