Following on from the holiday thread I was wondering where everyone would vote as their best place they've ever been to and why. Doesn't need to be holiday related, just interested to see the things we all class as 'the best!' Meadow Lane is banned. (And if you wee picking that then you need to get out more because on a cold tuesday night in January sat at the back of the Pavis...well...its not the best in the world, but not the worst either, especially if we're winning!)

Peak District absolutely beautiful place to explore!

I've literally covered the majority of the areas when I was 16, really nice place to do out door adventures also. If it wasn't there, then I would easily say Skegness. People may thrown upon it but for me it's way better than Blackpool and if you are creative you can always find something to do.

I would say when we went on a gondola ride in Venice, something I had always wanted to do and realised that ambition last year. Absolutely magical.

Abroad it has to be Malta, UK it would be the Scottish Highlands or Brecon Beacons. Locally would be Derbyshire [emoji3]

@Captain Sticky I agree with the Malta shout. When we walked through the gates to Mdina City it was like going back in time. A truly remarkable island.

Also standing on the cliffs of Moher in Ireland a month ago was magical.

Yes I enjoyed Malta, looking forward to seeing Madeira later in the year too.

I only go to places I really want to go. I've seen Europe's largest underground lake in Austria. I've been to the Salt Mine in Krakow. I love being underground.

I loved Rome. Stockholm is amazing. Enjoyed Paris. Great memories.

Singapore is a nice place to visit, many remote and beautiful locations if you keep clear of the big cities.

UK, I'd have to say Whitby, or Oban in Western Scotland

All time Favorite though as to be Canada. I haven't even step foot outside Ontario yet, but love every second here.
