I'm pleased, I wanted a steady game for Notts because I think this year will rely on some sort of cup success. If we can make through to where the money starts creeping in, it will be a blessing for us.

Huddersfield will be a decent test.

Plus is a fair travelling distance, so it should be fairly well supported and I can see Notts giving them a game. Obviously much depends on completely the squad and the type of transfers which come in but at the end of the day, we can't afford to be beaten at the first attempt. I can't say how disappointed I was to say that we didn't even give Wednesday a game last year and although @nightOWL gives us credit, I felt we was pretty poor.

Bring it on!

If I am honest, I would still be happy for us to go out, if it meant we got out of this division. I always would prefer to do well in the FA cup... the romance I suppose

Cup runs don't bother me either until  the latter stages, the league is the main thing.

Anyone feeling confident about the game?

If we play well and win, it could be a massive thing for Notts. Forest in the 2nd round! ;)

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
