Yeah, I suspect we are keeping tabs on many options above and below us.

I can't see us signing him unless he leaves them after his contract ends, yet I would suspect a bigger club would be interested - maybe even lower tier Championship. Yet he would be the type of striker I'd love to see us trying to sign, I just think this is quite unlikely but let's see how things go.

He would be a cracking signing if we managed it, yet if a fee was involved that would take it out of our reach alone.

A field where dreams become reality.

Can't see it myself. Why leave a club that's got promotion ambitions for a bitter rival in the same division with similar ambitions and probably a similar pay packet, and in January to boot?

What's probably going to happen is he continues his good scoring rate and a ) helps Mansfield to promotion and signs an extended deal at Field Mill next summer, or b ) Mansfield don't get promoted and he leaves for a lower Champ/high League One club in the summer.

Mansfield would not sell to us in repects to compeition and league status. However he would be a good signing and with the right players around him can easily be dangerous striker. Hes got Forte's pace with Steads finish so for league two would be a decent addition.

I can only see him going to a Championship club for money to be honest as he has shown what he is capable of, is youngish and was even talked about on Talksport yesterday by Dean Saunders, who watched the game.

He wasn't even being picked by Evans at the start of the season, but has forced his way in, partly through there inability to sign a deadline day striker and has turned into their number one forward.

Personally I would like to see him gone in January as I think that would stuff up Mansfield's promotion hopes!
