With 8 league games left will notts County gain automatic promotion or will it be via the play off route. Or shock error we won’t gain promotion.

I think we will go up in the automatic but it will depend on if Wycombe win their game in hand. If they loose that I think we will get that last automatic spot. But I think County have turned a corner and have got momentum back that they had at the beginning of the season. Hope fully not the playoff route that won’t do us any favours the automatic I think is our route up.

i dont want to jinx it by calling it but i think we have a decent chance of gaining promotion.

if thats automatically or via the playoffs i dont mind but we need to be careful. i dont want us to slip up and this is why i feel the mansfield draw was not that bad.

For once the cliche about Easter will be true. Wycombe at home is a six pointer, followed by Stanley away.

I really hope we go up by the automatic route, I’m not sure my heart can stand the playoffs and the disappointment if we miss out.

However whatever happens it will have been a good season and I’ll be back next year as always cheering them on.

I think it'll be playoffs personally. Notts aren't quite the finished product yet, there are still some flaws that need to be ironed out, but nonetheless it will have been a superb season and then anything can happen in the playoffs.

Kevin Nolan will be a much more experienced manager next season, I can't see any players wanting to leave and Alan Hardy can invest more in building a finished product type side that can comfortably finish in the top three next term.

Nonetheless, it's been great and the story ain't finished yet! COME ON YOU PIES!

I think the next 3 games are pivotal. Spireites will not be easy and a point would be decent if we can then beat Wycombe, and avoid defeat at Stanley. 5 points from 3 doesn’t seem like a great return but it’s 3 hard games out the way and would extend unbeaten run. If i’m Honest I fear we will come unstuck Sunday and my feeling is we will just miss out on play-offs.

No, I think we'll miss out all together and will pay the price for the stupid change in tactics for the Exeter and Crawley games, plus all the stupid points we have thrown away when away from home by not being a bit more adventurous.

I agree it will be one of the three ;)

Obviously I'm hoping for automatic but I have a niggly feeling someone else will be a bit more consistent in the run-in and overtake us. It's all up for grabs though and that's how we should be thinking.

I think the teams around us are starting to fire on all cylinders and to be honest we've been punching above our weight all season. I can see us slipping out of the play off places altogether, but like someone said earlier, it's been a good season and something to build on for the future..
