We look very comfortable in possession of the ball and fair do's to Southgate for getting us playing in a formation that works well for us

Rashford especially looks good. So wasted out on the wing at United

Back three look very solid, Delph has played well in the midfield. He's done well to adapt from playing left back for his club to centre mid at national level.

I think with Rashford it's important for him just to be playing, so I can understand why at United he's gone out wide - especially with all his pace.

He's doing well for the national level because there's faith in his ability, Southgate clearly believes in young players and he's got things right so far with the system. It's very positive right now, I think those people who berated the selection may be eating humble pie if we do well in the World Cup.

Honestly, I think we will.

I think we are looking really well passing around just keeping possession controlling the tempo the defence looking calm and jack butland has really been good calm on pass backs and keeping the tempo at an appropriate pace.  I’m feeling possitive for one ....

Fluid football by England finally, its nice to see us looking comfortable and creative on the ball. Southgate has gotten a lot of confidence going within his squad selection and I hope it grows further within the World Cup.

Marcus Rashford is an absolute beast.

confidence is high but i must admit i am concerned that the defence is not as good as it should be. we lack a strong physical centre back and the goal situation is worrying too.

i agree that we have played well against costa rica and in previous friendly, just unsure better teams would give us so much time.

It's only against a team like Costa Rica, we need to do it against the bigger teams but its promising by how we played. Loftus-Cheek looked excellent on the ball, nobody looked able to cope with his threat.

Thanks @ARLukomski I deliberately timed our holiday so I’d be back for the World Cup but I never thought about the friendlies.

Fairly convincing win by the sound of it, that should breed confidence.
