I know the test match is tomorrow so I’m hoping there won’t be any problems parkingon the embankment tonight.

Anyone know of any restrictions?

There was plenty of parking, so no problems and no restrictions.

What are the restrictions normally?

On a normal match day Saturday there are no restrictions assuming there are no special events going on (riverside festival, test match etc) that’s why I wondered about Friday night match before test match. If you want to park mid week. During the day it costs £2.

What's happened to the free parking?

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

They started charging on weekdays because people were using it to park and then leaving their car there all day while they’re at work, it’s free at weekends.
