Retweeted six times, yet it stubbornly refuses to go viral. Hard luck, Notts County "Insider"! ;)

The last thing we need now is yet more upheaval.

On twitter.....

Hi Jason, just sent you a connection via linked in regarding the Grandson of the Steinbrenner family in getting involved with the Magpies. my direct cell/text 001 323 630-6871 and my email is [email protected]

Why would anyone want to buy Notts this season? It's not convincing that a richer investor could guarantee anything more.

I don't buy it at all.

It's junk, not even worth repeating and if there's any truth in this well I think I'd die of shock.

If someone feels the need to pretend to be an "insider" and decides to use Twitter as a means to release sensitive information, in this way of handling it. Then I have no faith that the rumours are remotely credible.

A Newspaper would have picked up on the story, was it not the same person who denied it last time?

If the Malloy’s twitter accounts are genuine they’ve been tweeting about Notts wishing them luck, congratulating them on the win etc., why would they do that?

But in a tweet Hardy says he’d never heard of them until Leigh Curtis asked him about it and says we’re stuck with him with a laughing emoji.

its false.

he seems to be interest in sports as a fan, just because he wishes the club well and is happy a result comes our way does not mean hes going to buy it.

But why Notts County @liampie? Of all the sports and all the teams or individuals the Malloys could tweet about they pick us. I don’t get it. They have no connection to us, why would they be in the slightest interested that we got a win yesterday?

Does it matter why?

He might like the history and prefer to support the underdog, Notts have a fairy tale story and that would appeal to an American. I don't believe for a second it's strong enough to buy the club though.

No it doesn’t matter, I’m just curious but you could have a point about the fairy tale story I can imagine that would appeal to an American as you say, it appealed to Scardino after all.

American's are obsessed with history and heritage.

Look at the clubs that have been owned by American owners, it's almost a cliche and most would pick the bigger clubs due to their attraction to fame and money. We can only speculate on this but it's nonsense. Credit to him for backing Notts, but we have been here before.

I can assure you @super_piean offer (whether it is accepted or not) may be forthcoming

How come you know so much and wouldn't it be better to keep things private until any potential negotiations are completed

@super_ram statement of intent to Notts CEO??? Make up your own minds...I believe that a serious inquiry is being made

I think there would be more than just a few messages on twitter if someone was really interested, or there would at least be other signs of it.

I note this mentions "The grandson" and"getting involved" If this is genuine should we all not wait and see exactly what "getting involved"means

It may or may not be a load of rubbish but it’s good fun speculating and does no harm as far as I can see.

I can't see businessmen conducting things publicly, they would want to keep it private and Alan selling now would see him lose his investment as I can't see anyone paying his debts back at this stage.
