February 7, 20196 yr #2 1. Swansea away lost 8-1 (excluding pre season friendlies) 2. Donga He 3. Ruud Gullit at HFC Haarlem 4. Benjy....never got the recognition he deserved...always did his job with modesty 5. L1 (with maybe a season in the Vanarama in between)
February 7, 20196 yr #3 1. Saw Notts beat Swansea 6 - 0 at Meadow Lane. I think it was in the 60’s. I was only a kid and felt sorry for Swansea, I just wanted us to stop scoring !! 2. I’ll go with Etete. No point in commenting on those that left. 3. Mark Hateley 4. Neil Warnock. Absolute Legend. 5. So much uncertainty over ownership. I’ll say League 2
February 7, 20196 yr Author #4 1. 5-1 win over bradford city. 2. sam osbourne 3. craig mackail smith ???? [im discounting the loan] 4. lee hughes, he created a buzz and made watching notts exciting. hes such a deadly finisher and he made the kop rock. 5. league one hopefully with neal ardley still there as manager.
February 7, 20196 yr #5 1. 8-1 defeat in the fa cup to Swansea City. 2. Donga He 3. David Beckham ???????? 4. Don Masson brilliant player to watch, his passing could turn nothing into something. 5. League Two [unless the club finds the right owner].
February 7, 20196 yr #6 1. What was the Rotherham result again @BradtheMiller? 6-1 jesus... I think... I wiped this from my memory. 2. Donga He is very hard to beat even with is short highlighted career here. 3. There was a player linked around 1993, a striker I believe but it never materialised. I think it was around the time Notts let go Paul Rideout but I can't remember who the player was. I know plenty of fans at the time said we would have been okay with him though. 4. Phil Turner I think would edge it, as a kid supporting Notts he had everything and he was a true captain. 5. League One looking more like a promotion contender hopefully.
February 7, 20196 yr #7 1. I try to forget. 2. Tyrell Waite look good. 3. LLoyd Sam I wished we had got him back. 4. Alan Judge! Great player, used to play for pride and score some screamers. 5. League Two
February 8, 20196 yr #8 1. 5-3 away win over Lincoln under Allardyce. 3-0 up, back to 3-3 when they brought a long haired youth on and then we killed it with two easy goals. Seem to remember being sat in the large stand for that game. 2. Dongde He by reports, but Sam Osborne from what I have seen. 3. Kevin Keegan 4. Tommy Johnson is my favourite player, I wouldn't say idol though, that would be Iain McCulloch. Think he averaged a goal every 3 games in the top flight, I was gutted when he bust his leg. 5. National League North if we're still around and not become FC Notts County
