Such a funny article in regards to ex notts player Jorge grant.

Mansfield boss wants the ref to give Jorge grant more protection against fouls ahead of the game against Notts County.

Like thats going to happen....

I think it was Leigh Curtis who asked the question about this to Neal Ardley, his reply was classic and very good. I am pleased to see such a response, he joked about asking for protection for Enzio Boldewijn but that it was ***Β for tat.

Seriously the focus should be on the football.

Mansfield are by far the dirtier team and each time they've played us in recent years, they've focused on falling over thin air, matchsticks and cheating. Half the time they didn't need to do it either.

If Notts asked for protection for a player, you just know the referee would ignore everything. I bet Mansfield manhandle Jon Stead but we will just get on with it. Bunch of sissys.

I bet they manhandle all our players and time waste. Their fans can be just as bad. Seriously though, why would you even think of asking for extra protection of a player

Watch them start Jorge Grant on the bench. :rollonfloorlaughing:

It's a curve ball to make us focus solely on one player, nothing else.

@BigMagΒ is spot on.

If Notts tries to take the games focus from the threat Jorge Grants brings, the game will be lost because they're good enough without him. Focus on defending as a team and on each player. Just go in a little rougher on them all.

I don't even think Notts are all that dirty, if anything we are too soft and rash players like Nathan Thomas are long gone.

Jim O'Brien, Michael Doyle are different.

Jorge Grant is just a smoke screen by Mansfield, I agree with the comment above byΒ @BigMag.Β

I heard moans of Mansfield fans complaining that 'Notts' bullied them, which made me laugh considering they did three very bad challenges most officials would have punished at least one of them with a red card. We played football in a way it made it difficult for them, they struggled to create because of the hard work and they tried to go in hard hitting.

Absolute joke they only earned yellow cards.
