So I ask this quite a lot but can we take any positives from today’s game against Northampton.?

Of course, there's positives, but at the same time some things should have been better.

  • Scored first
  • Played quite well
  • Robust defending
  • Focused on playing without buying into the awful officials
  • Pulled level after going to 10 men
  • Some good passing

- We finally scored at Meadow Lane for the first time since February 19th

- Battled well with 10 men to earn a point

- We didn't hoof it up to Stead at every opportunity, instead trying to pass it around

- Another goal for Hemmings

- Midfield played really well once again

1 point and some players played very well.

i can only add we also escaped the relegation zone briefly with postive signs we could stay out.

All the positives seem short after Macclesfield beat Exeter, Notts have to respond by playing well and sending a positive message.

Think its just a solid draw TBH, I wouldn't knock it.
