Shola Ameobi returns to Newcastle United in a new role

Featured Replies

Good luck to him but his job sounds one of those just to get a popular ex player back.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Interesting position, it does seem like something a club does to pull back a popular figure, but I am sure Shola Ameobi would do well. Some loan players do need a bit of support when they arrive to a new club, so at least Newcastle seems forward thinking.

Good luck to the Notts icon.
