I am concerned that the focus is on the cup, used in the right way Neal Ardley could get the players to lift their performances for league games by promising those who give their all a chance to feature.

If the club gets into the final, I would hope he tries this.

Winning games and wanting to play can bring the best out of anyone.

It’s not the FL play off finals, but those memories stay with you forever, so for younger fans, I say enjoy the experience if we get there.

Now if we’re there twice this season due to playoffs and the cup, then what a couple of weeks that will be!

This season has always been a work in progress type thing, to make the cup final could be a good boost.

At the moment I don't think the poor league form is to do with the cup, it looks more like a run of poor form but Notts should bounce back. I think it's likely that the club will make at least one visit to Wembley this season.
