Personally, I think Barrow will go up replacing Bury and, then the rest of the leagues remain the same which is incredibly unfair. I mean, it's the laziest solution to this problem.

If the playoffs don't happen (which I think is very likely).

I think it's even more unlikely that that teams within the relegation zone from the PL to League Two won't be effected, whereas they could promote the teams in the highest position and relegate those in the drop zones. If Notts happened to be in the same position of last season, I would feel this keeps the leagues status in order - without putting jeopardy to the tradition.

I know this sends the discussion a little off topic, yet imagine the Premier League, Football League and National League - do no promotions/relegations with the exception of Barrow.

If they granted Liverpool the title of the Premier League, it would be odd.

If they didn't, I think it would be very harsh.

Basically, I feel they need to honour the league and, make sure relegations/promotions still happen.

As a Barrow fan i think (hope) we go up - but i think the number of clubs going up does depend on the PL/EFL - so voted that way.

I don't think the play offs will take place - unless they use a neutral venue - probably a PL club and then if they did it could only really be 2 v 5 and 3 v 4 with the winners playing to get the 2nd promoted team.

IF play offs did happen then you'd be stuck with which form of PPG do you use;-

straight PPG results in Barrow (c), Harrogate (2) Notts (3) Yeovil (4) Boreham Wood (5)

separating Home and Away PPG results in Barrow (c), Harrogate (2) Yeovil (3), Boreham Wood (4) Notts (5)

but using a Neutral ground would mean there's no real difference between finishing 2nd or 5th.

As it's highly likely there will be no live football until autumn, we can probably forget about there being any play-offs. I'm just accepting that the season is over and looking forward to being in a football ground again in the not too distant future.

I hope the playoffs happen, it would solve a lot of issues but I think it might end up being restarted as things stand now.

Just a new season.
