Matt Palmer should be the captain. He should have been given the role in the first place. He’s the first player on my potential team sheet when fit. If Macaulay Langstaff had been made vice captain, it wouldn’t have been as negative. But here we are.

Adding a striker, a midfielder, and two centre backs would be a good way to strengthen the team from here. We don’t need to worry about signing a goal scorer, but another striker would be beneficial.

Following any football club will always bring some disappointment. When we reflect on Macaulay Langstaff’s transfer, we should remember the moments and memories he gave us fans. For instance, his penalty kick at Wembley that helped us gain promotion, his 40+ goals in the National League, and all those rainy match days when we hoped to return to the Football League. Langstaff will always share a bond with Notts, and with us, the fans.

I’d like to extend my best wishes to Connell Rawlinson. He’s made a valiant effort and has served us admirably. If only he were a tad quicker on his feet. He certainly has the defensive mindset, but his physical capabilities aren’t quite up to our standard now.

There’s a website available that enables you to track historical changes. It’s quite popular among the Dead Road/Street communities. Observing these changes, particularly the shift from local shops to shopping centres, supermarkets, and retail outlets, can be disheartening. However, it can also be an interesting journey to embark on at times.

The Magpie Brewery, conveniently located next door, could potentially collaborate with local businesses in Nottingham and even the wider East Midlands area. The Nest, in my opinion, is a significant accomplishment for the club. Providing us fans with our own space is truly commendable.

Well, it could be similar to what happened with Luke Williams. It didn’t seem like he would be leaving until it actually happened. These things sometimes take a while, and just because there’s silence, it doesn’t mean something isn’t happening. There could be more to this, or there might not be. I believe Notts will be able to find a striker who can score goals, but finding someone with Macaulay Langstaff’s ability and potential is less likely. That doesn’t mean we can’t find a good striker to step into his shoes. I just hope we can keep him because with him, I believe we could reach the Championship one day before he retires.

The site is fine, as was the old one. There’s not much difference aside from the design and navigation. If it makes the online shop and other features more streamlined, then it will be a good thing. I just wish the ticketing system was better; even TicketMaster is dreadful.

It’s lovely to see old photos of Nottingham. There are some fantastic Facebook communities that share these vintage pictures. You don’t get to see them often unless the Nottingham Post picks them up.

Italy is average. If we face them, it would be time to seek revenge for the unfair play and defeat we suffered the last time we played against them. Austria looks strong, but I don’t rate Switzerland highly as they seem overrated. They can perform well, but at times, they appear average. England stands a good chance of reaching another final; they just need to play as a team and reach their potential. The knockout stage is there for us if we can improve our performance.

His time at AFC Wimbledon last season was impressive, to say the least. 16 clean sheets and commanding performances don’t come easy. With our new defensive signings, I feel our backline is much stronger now. The fact that he’s good with his feet is a bonus, given our style of play. Definitely looking forward to the new season. They’re tough opponents on their home ground, but hopefully, we can put up a good match and handle their long balls that skip the midfield. We now have more robust choices in defence, which is positive. It’s set to be a thrilling match!

It’s a positive injury update, and hopefully, we won’t have any more serious setbacks. The return of players can provide a boost, although they might need some time to adjust to match days, like Adam Chicksen and Will Randall. They should add some strength to the team. So far, Randall’s performance has been a bit disappointing, so I hope he steps up under Maynard’s guidance.

Stuart Maynard seems to have a good understanding of our squad, and it appears we’ve chosen the right person to take over. I don’t anticipate major tactical changes, but strengthening the defence is one area where most fans would like to see improvements.

I’ve not come across him before. If he’s back in League Two, it might not speak volumes about his skill, unless he chose it based on his location. Settling in Scotland could be challenging, and moving closer to home makes sense. However, if he didn’t meet their standards, that’s a different matter.

I don’t anticipate many more signings. For those hoping for another central midfielder and striker, it’s unlikely to happen. We might bring in another defender, but I suspect our transfer dealings will conclude here.

James Sanderson is a promising young player. He has the opportunity to be one of the first youngsters in years to break into our team and become a regular, provided he continues to work hard.

For a structure made from Lego, it doesn’t get much closer to the real thing than this. It’s quite impressive and looks fantastic! If they were to sell this Lego set, it would likely cost a pretty penny, if not more.
