A Statement From The Notts County Board of Directors.
I don't think there's a need for such a statement. Some of our fans have been known to demand immediate answers, which can lead to responses. While this statement might discourage such behaviour, it's unnecessary. I'm sure the board and club worked diligently to secure players. The process is not as straightforward as some fans may believe.

Yeovil merchandise misspelling
It's quite foolish to continue selling merchandise with incorrect spelling. If the mistake were only on the packaging, it might be understandable. However, having the wrong spelling directly on the merchandise is inexcusable. A sticker could cover up the error on the packaging, but there's not much you can do with a "Yeovl Town" scarf.

Match Report: McGoldrick Magic as Notts County Triumph Over Swindon Town
It was a true test of character for Notts County and they passed with flying colours. McGoldrickโs performance was top-notch, with his second goal particularly impressive. The teamโs response to going behind was commendable, they didnโt let their heads drop and kept pushing. The defensive effort at the end showed real mental toughness, with Bass making some vital saves. This kind of resilience and quality is whatโs needed for a successful promotion campaign. This victory will surely boost the teamโs confidence. Proud of the lads and looking forward to the next match. Letโs keep this momentum going!

George Abbott Excited for New Chapter at Notts County: "It's a Good Opportunity" Says Tottenham Hotspur's Young Midfielder
I love George Abbottโs attitude toward his new challenge with Notts County. Changing clubs after years at Tottenham must be tough, but heโs embracing it with open arms. His focus on playing men's football and the recognition of its importance for his career advancement, including potential national team appearances, is impressive. Enthusiasm for the training session and his quick integration with team-mates is a great start. As a defensive midfielder, his versatility will undoubtedly be an asset. Itโs reassuring to hear that Notts style aligns closely with what he's accustomed to, ensuring a smoother transition. Eager to see how he impacts our performances this season.

Notts Alumni: Tom Keetley
Iโve always been interested in football history, and Tom Keetleyโs story is a perfect example of why. He wasnโt just a great player; he was a record-breaker and a key figure in Notts Countyโs history. The fact that his record for goals in a season stood for over 90 years speaks volumes about his talent. But what really makes his story stand out is the contrast between his success on the pitch and the challenges he faced after retiring. Itโs sad to think that a player of his calibre struggled financially and with his health after giving so much to the game. This article really highlights the need for better support for footballers after they hang up their boots.

Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Mariners (H)
Notts deserved the win. It was a good result, and Grimsby didnโt know how to handle Notts. They simply couldnโt cope, and the more Notts grew in confidence, the better the chances came. Would I feel hard done by if the result was the other way around? It would be annoying, but some of their fans, just like ours, like to cry over spilt milk. Itโs football, it happens. Whilst I sympathise that perhaps one goal should definitely have been disallowed, the fault lies with the referee, not Notts.

Match Report: Dan Crowley Double Seals Notts County's 4-1 Triumph Against Grimsby Town
Good result. I think Notts deserved the win. Grimsby might be better on a different day, but unlucky for them, they couldnโt cope against us. It was impressive to see Notts control them and limit what they could do, whilst freely scoring.

Bochum's cup shirt
Would it be fair to assume they didnโt place the order and wanted the money paid beforehand, so they could guarantee the shirts were sold and no money was lost?

Curtis Edwards Reflects on Impressive Notts County Victory and His Role Moving Forward
Great performance by the squad. Curtis Edwards was all over the pitch and impressed everyone. Some might suggest it wonโt be noticed, but I am sure even Grimsby fans felt he did well.

Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Mariners (H)
Grimsby have more reasons to be up for the game. I donโt say this to be negative, but with their start to the season, having won and playing a nearby rival, one they have a history of beating, I am more concerned that we could have a setback. If Notts can end the first half 0-0, I would be happier knowing that we could make something of the game. If we concede or narrowly lead, then I think it will be quite open. I can see them forcing Notts out of the habit by making us attack the KOP in the first half too.

Name Your Ultimate Notts Team From Notts Players Down The Years
4-3-3 Formation GK: Steve Cherry RB: Steve Finnan CB: Michael Johnson CB: Shaun Murphy LB: Ian Baraclough CM: Gary Mills CM: Phil Turner CM: Neal Bishop RW: Paul Heffernan LW: Enzio Boldewijn ST: Tony Hateley Iโve tried to pick some players who arenโt the usual choices. I thought about their height, speed, and skills. This might not be the most logical or memorable group of players, but I believe they would win games if they were in their prime and playing for Notts County.

David McGoldrick: Ready and Waiting to Shine at Notts County
I love David McGoldrick. Heโs one of our own, and Iโm glad heโs come back. The earlier part of last season, he was on fire, and I would love to see more of that form. This season, he has done well, but you can see heโs more of an impact player at this stage of his career. He will get goals, but I wouldnโt rush to start him over the likes of Jatta.

Match Preview: Notts County Seek First Win Against Grimsby Town
Good preview. It might be unpopular for me to say this, but David McGoldrickโs best position is on the bench. I fully expect him to start cup games and some matches where we can afford to give him a chance. I just wouldnโt in a game like Grimsby. Despite his experience, he has little speed, and if we rely on him, he will burn out fast. Heโs a good player, but part of the issue last season was caused by him burning out and being tired. Heโd make a bigger impact coming off the bench.

Match Preview: Magpies Target Early Season Win Against Fleetwood Town
Looking forward to seeing what Notts County brings to the table against Fleetwood Town. Our seasonโs start has been less than ideal, with a mix of a hard-fought draw and a disappointing League Cup exit. However, playing at Meadow Lane in front of a near-capacity crowd could be the turning point. We have potential stars in the making, and now is the time for them to shine. Fleetwood's away form isn't the best, giving us an advantage. Alex Bass in goal has been superb, and with stronger defensive tactics, we can avoid conceding sloppy goals. Hereโs hoping for a solid performance, securing three points, and giving our fans something to cheer about!

Mark Stallard: Notts County Fans the Backbone of a Promising League Campaign
Stall makes some excellent points about the match against Shrewsbury. Although it was disappointing to lose on penalties, there were a lot of positives to take away. Our team showed great character and resilience, especially in holding their own against a higher-division side for the full 90 minutes. The first half performance was particularly impressive, and while the second half had its challenges, itโs clear thereโs a lot to build on. Stallardโs analysis of the tactical decisions, particularly the substitutions, provides valuable insight.

Notts County Head Coach Stuart Maynard Reflects on Heartbreaking League Cup Defeat
Simply gutting to lose on penalties after such a strong first half. Notts were dominant, and it's a shame we couldn't hold onto the lead. Stuart Maynardโs admission of defensive errors is important; recognising and working on these will make us stronger. Shrewsburyโs comeback was inspired, and it reminds us how quickly games can turn. The penalty shoot-out is always unpredictable, and unfortunately, luck was against us. Nonetheless, there are positives to take.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - Super White Army (A)
I hope we make better use of possession this season than we did last year. At times, it felt like we ran out of ideas, but this has noticeably improved in pre-season. If we hit the target, the goals should come, and Iโm hopeful weโll be much stronger in defence. With Alex Bass and the new defenders, we have more depth at the back, so Iโm optimistic that we wonโt concede as often. I donโt think Notts will be much different in other areas, just more organised and effective.

Away kits revealed
None of the kits are as good as they could be, but theyโre decent enough. The away kit isn't anything special, very simple, but that can be a good thing. In poor weather, at least we should be able to spot our players clearly when playing away. Iโm not sure why the club always has to be so slow in releasing it.

Can Notts and Others Make the Leap? A Look at League 2 Promotion Prospects
I initially thought Notts began their recruitment well, but we've taken a few steps back with some of the departures. A solid addition or two could help, but seeing how other teams have strengthened, itโs clear thereโs strong competition. Iโm not convinced Doncaster will make the automatic spots or even the playoffs. Tranmere and Swindon could be outside bets to push for the top places.

Hi @ARLukomski, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your journey with us. It takes a lot of courage to open up about your struggles. Ewan Coleman Signs For Notts!
The arrival of a new kitman sounds intriguing. Itโs challenging to stay up-to-date with the staffing at Notts. Only coaching roles get reported on when changes are made, and even then, some go under the radar. Welcome, Ewan Coleman.
