  1. His talk about “momentum” is so true. Playing consistently is everything for a player. Hoping Jevani gets a solid run and shows his quality. Loved his comment on the goal relief. Not every day do you get a player who’s genuinely excited for the team, not just for himself. Speaks volumes.
  2. Nick has fit in perfectly here. He’s clearly focused on enjoying every match, and his dribbling is something special. His approach to every game seems so genuine, like he’s really valuing each moment with us. Plus, that instinctive dribbling style is exactly what we need.
  3. Derby County 2-1 Hull City Plymouth Argyle 0-0 Preston North End Cambridge United 1-3 Burton Albion Lincoln City 3-2 Stockport County Bradford City 1-1 Doncaster Rovers(joker) Newport County 0-1 Fleetwood Town Barnet 2-2 Rochdale Ebbsfleet United 1-0 Wealdstone

  5. I appreciate how Maynard’s approach is about taking responsibility and not blaming refereeing decisions. Sure, they’ve been frustrating, but he’s right, the team’s creating chances, and now it’s about keeping composure in the final third. If we can start turning those chances into goals, especially at home, we’ll really be flying. Wimbledon’s a tough side, but if we focus on those big moments, I can see us getting the three points.
  6. Maynard’s words about Cedwyn’s leave of absence really struck a chord with me. Mental health is still not talked about enough in football, and Cedwyn’s courage to come forward is a step in the right direction. As fans, we can sometimes be guilty of focusing too much on the results and not enough on the well-being of the players. Injuries are tough enough physically, but the mental toll can be just as challenging, if not more. I’m glad the club is handling this so well, and I hope it opens up more conversations about mental health in the sport.
  7. Blackburn Rovers 2-0 Swansea City QPR 1-2 Portsmouth Blackpool 2-2 Barnsley Lincoln City 0-2 Birmingham City Bradford City 0-2 Gillingham Port Vale 3-0 Fleetwood Town Maidenhead United 0-1 Hartlepool United Sutton United 1-2 Oldham Athletic
  8. It’s an easy choice for me. I voted for George Abbott, but I think any of the named players could have been chosen. I thought Sam Austin did really well, as did Matty Platt in defence. But it ultimately comes down to the all-round performance, and Abbott gets it for me.
  9. Palmer’s reflections on the play-off final really bring back those intense moments. I was on the edge of my seat during that game, and it’s fascinating to hear how much the players themselves went through mentally. You can feel the emotion he describes, especially with the relief after Cedwyn’s penalty. It’s also good to hear how grounded he is about this season. The squad has definitely changed a lot, but I think his point about needing time to gel is spot on. I’ve got no doubt that with Matt’s leadership, we’ll continue to improve as the season progresses.
  10. Crawley Town 2-1 Shrewsbury Town Peterborough United 2-1 Rotherham United Barrow 1-1 Morecambe Cheltenham Town 0-2 Swindon Town Doncaster Rovers 1-1 Crewe Alexandra Harrogate Town 0-0 Newport County Salford City 3-0 Grimsby Town Joker Tranmere Rovers 0-1 Bradford City

  12. Kellan Gordon brings such enthusiasm to the team, which is exactly what we need. His perspective on the importance of family makes him relatable to fans, and it definitely reflects in his gameplay. I think this connection is a two-way street, with fans supporting him feeling like they’re supporting one of their own. His success at Crawley Town likely brought invaluable experience, but the emotional benefits of being back home with family can't be overstated. Gordon’s ability to slot into various roles is paramount to our depth, and his positive outlook is great to see.
  13. Norwich City 0-3 Leeds United Sunderland 3-1 Derby County Birmingham City 1-1 Huddersfield Town Crawley Town 2-3 Mansfield Town Joker Leyton Orient 2-1 Exeter City Doncaster Rovers 1-1 Barrow Newport County 0-1 Salford City Tranmere Rovers 0-3 Swindon Town
  14. Jodi’s injury is a huge setback for us, but his attitude towards recovery is nothing short of heroic. It’s incredibly frustrating to see such a talented player sidelined due to lack of proper officiating. His comments about protection for players are entirely valid, and it’s high time the league took these issues more seriously. Jodi’s strength and determination are evident, and it’s heartening to see his resolve to come back even stronger. Let’s rally behind him and show our support during this tough time.
  15. Middlesbrough 2-1 Stoke City Millwall 1-2 Preston North End Joker Blackpool 3-0 Burton Albion Wigan Athletic 2-2 Exeter City Gillingham 1-1 Barrow Newport County 0-1 Crewe Alexandra Woking 1-0 Sutton United Yeovil Town 2-2 Aldershot
  16. Luton Town 1-3 Sheffield Wednesday Joker Sheffield United 1-1 Derby County Bolton Wanderers 1-0 Reading Peterborough United 3-2 Bristol Rovers Bradford City 3-1 AFC Wimbledon Salford City 1-0 Walsall Hartlepool United 0-2 Dagenham & Redbridge Oldham Athletic 1-1 Yeovil Town
  17. Can’t wait for this clash! Gillingham might be a strong side, but we’ve got the upper hand with our recent form at Meadow Lane. The way Maynard has the lads playing, especially with such cohesion in attack and defence, makes me confident. The midfield battle will be crucial, and if Crowley can dictate the play as he has been, I see us coming out on top. Here's to maintaining our unbeaten run and staying at the top of the table. COYP!
  18. The glowing comments for Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley are absolutely spot on. They make it difficult for opponents to play against us. I also want to praise the defence, even though there was a slip-up and Alex Bass could have done better before we conceded the second goal. The players are looking very good as a team. It was important that we held onto Jodi and Crowley in January.
  19. Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 QPR Swansea City 2-1 Norwich City Bolton Wanderers 2-1 Huddersfield Town Rotherham United 2-0 Burton Albion Carlisle United 0-0 Fleetwood Town Port Vale 1-2 Chesterfield Joker Southend United 1-0 Sutton United Tamworth 1-1 Maidenhead United
  20. This contract extension is massive for us. Jodi has been top-notch, and I’m glad he’s committed to Notts County. His performances have been outstanding, and he brings so much energy and skill to the team. It’s not just about his talent on the pitch, his positive attitude and dedication are also invaluable. Having Jodi on board for a longer period gives us stability and confidence. It shows that he believes in the club’s vision and wants to be a part of our journey. This commitment will surely inspire his teammates and the fans. I’m excited to see what the future holds with Jodi continuing to play a key role for Notts.
  21. As I said in the article, this is fantastic news. It’s a big deal for the club because it shows Jodi’s dedication and commitment to playing for Notts. While some fans might be hoping that Dan Crowley follows suit, Jodi Jones signing a new deal is very significant for Notts. He’s a top-notch player, and although there have been concerns about his past injuries, it hasn’t stopped him from shining at Meadow Lane. He’s a remarkable talent, worthy of being considered a legend. It’s great to see the club securing his deal, which gives us confidence and reduces worries. Without this early-season agreement, the club might have had to start looking for replacements.
  22. It’s the best news we could have hoped for at this stage. Yes, some fans will be hoping that Dan Crowley follows, but Jodi Jones committing is a big significance for Notts. He’s a class player, with concerns due to his previous injuries, but it hasn’t stopped him lighting up Meadow Lane. He’s a great talent, deserving to be considered a legend, and it’s nice to see the club able to sort out his deal. It gives us strength and less worry, as the club might have had to start considering replacements had it not happened this early in the season.
  23. I think Notts will do fine. Away from home, we have needed to see more improvements in how we play, but this should start to come. Bromley would regret being defensive, I feel. Bradford City destroyed them when they thought they could sit back. Notts won’t have it easy, but we do have players who can get the goals needed.
  24. It’s been great to see the stands filling up regularly. I still wish the Pavis would get more involved instead of booing and groaning, but it is impressive to see the support.
  25. David McGoldrick’s goals were pure class. Credit to the team for remarkable performance. The team showed great depth and resilience. Controlling possession and creating chances, they looked confident all match. Brilliant effort, Notts!
