  1. I agree, Stockport defended really well but their goalkeeper was the one who kept them in the game. If Notts had closed up and avoided some of the mistakes, the result could have been different. I think our form at this stage is the most important thing and avoiding defeat would be good. I fully expect the players to challenge Stockport County, with them attacking us in a similar way. It should be an entertaining game.
  2. The lead-up to Saturday’s game is fraught with tension, yet Jim's composure shines through. Handling such an interim period isn't a walk in the park. I'm particularly impressed with his plans for the game, focusing on us making an impact and really putting our stamp on the play. It’s this proactive attitude that we need to clinch those all-important points. His handover to Stuart Maynard is appreciated too.
  3. The performance is the key point from the game, we played well and it shows the players are heeding Luke Williams. We got the response we desired, a performance where we match up to the top of the league. I believe it augurs well for the work being put into training. Luke Williams has no cause for disappointment, I’m certain he’s pleased and proud. He’s seemed concerned, but I don’t think any of us need to be in retrospect. We’re in capable hands, it’s just a tough period.
  4. Hello there, @Robbie__64. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. The community is fantastic here, glad to see you joining in and being a part of it.
  5. Hello, @StanfordPie. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  6. Do we lack genuine experience and quality in our defence? Someone like Connell Rawlinson, but quicker in their thinking, stronger in their decisions, and overall a very reliable centre back.
  7. There’s been too much emphasis on modernising the city, when the funds could have been utilised to enhance it in more effective ways. Now, the central library and underdeveloped areas will hold the city council accountable for not investing more prudently.
  8. This kind of penalty could ruin a club like theirs. I agree that action was necessary, but to further deduct points instead of targeting those responsible is appalling.
  9. I’m hoping the club has invested more effort into preparation. I still believe that a win could significantly improve our current form. We’ve been inconsistent away from home, we need to perform better, but we’re still in a favourable position regardless.
  10. I hope the club has prioritised this with the intention of generating additional revenue, as I think there might be better areas to invest in at the moment while we’re a League Two club.
  11. Increased focus, additional training, and unity in preparation are needed. Notts will be alright. Our first victory will significantly boost our performance, particularly if it occurs away from home.
  12. Definitely, Walsall weren't a great team. We've defeated stronger teams that put up more of a fight. Notts just surrendered without putting up much of a fight of their own.
  13. At times when the cost of living rises, companies ought to be compelled to use their earnings to repair infrastructure. However, the Tories prefer to burden the populace with financial constraints, pessimism, and hardships that serve their agenda while they are in power.
  14. It's pleasant for the scenery and for a peaceful stroll in the evening, but it gets far too crowded during the day and early evening. Everywhere has these pop-up markets and stalls, and some offer delicious food.
  15. If you hadn't identified them, I'd be wondering which one was our Luke Williams.
  16. Cameron’s determination is commendable. If everyone in the squad adopts his level of commitment, there's no doubt we'll rise above our issues.
  17. Jim’s header was fantastic, and his celebration even better. He might look a bit mad while celebrating, but it’s all out of pure passion!
  18. Teams that apply pressure and have a certain style of play can expose our defence’s weaknesses. Our defence isn’t perfect and some goals are unavoidable, but what we can defend is the character of our team members. They’re here for the right reasons, they care and want to succeed. So, when criticising them, be a bit more considerate as many will already be disparaging them on social media.
  19. Tricky situation regarding David's minor injury. It's hard to recover and be at par with quick schedules like these.
  20. I’ve taken my time to vote thoughtfully. It was challenging to pick just one person for each section, as I wished I could choose more than one. However, I’ve made my selections with careful consideration.
  21. Cardiff City 1-2 West Bromwich Albion Coventry City 1-1 Plymouth Argyle Bristol Rovers 0-1 Leyton Orient Oxford United 0-2 Bolton Wanderers Stevenage 0-0 Peterborough United Accrington Stanley 2-1 Swindon Town Gillingham 0-2 AFC Wimbledon Joker Morecambe 1-1 Newport County

  25. Wendy’s story truly touches the heart. As a fellow Notts County supporter, her journey from a casual fan to a dedicated follower is both admirable and inspiring. Her decision to use her love for the club as a springboard for charity work shows the wider impact football can have beyond the pitch. It’s individuals like Wendy who add a layer of social responsibility to the love of the game, enriching and warming the community. Her story is a testament to how passion for a football club can extend into making a positive difference in the world. It’s a beautiful reminder of the power of sport and community.
