  1. Greetings @Morten Johansen! Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. We’re committed to providing you with an unforgettable experience. Enjoy your stay!
  2. It's indeed good to see such a youth-focused approach being taken at Notts. This focus on nurturing local talent imparts a message of belief and confidence to young players, which is likely to encourage them to strive harder on and off the pitch. The club's future definitely looks promising with all these young talents coming through.
  3. That strike from Kyle Cameron was nothing short of a Bobby-dazzler. We've got ourselves a true hero.
  4. It was a decent match, especially if you weren’t rooting for either side. I reckon both sets of supporters will be left wondering why they didn’t clinch the victory. After the 66th minute, MK Dons seemed a bit timid. Kyle Cameron’s effort was a splendid finish. It was nice to see him have his moment in the spotlight. It ought to do wonders for his confidence.
  5. Notts performed well for the most part, except for a lapse in defence that led to their goal. We need to improve our ability to close down teams and ensure that players get back, similar to how MK Dons defended. They always made sure to have bodies behind the ball, which is something we need to do more of. Nonetheless, the point is a good one.
  6. 'Faces of PON' truly captures the spirit of the game and the resilience of our club. We've been through many ups and downs, but Meadow Lane continues to be a place of joy and passion, a place where memories are made and captured by photographers like you, @Chris.
  7. Terrific match with an outstanding performance by Notts. McGoldrick's early strike undeniably bolstered the team's self-belief and set the tone for the match. A well-deserved win, could not have asked for more. Notable mention for Aaron Nemane, his swift and strategic moves kept Rovers' defence on their toes.
  8. I understand the mixed feelings about the upcoming match against Tranmere Rovers. It's true that they're expected to be a strong contender, but Notts County's recent progress and hard work can't be ignored. The changing perspective from nervousness to optimism is a testament to the team's growth and potential. Creating and capitalizing on chances will indeed be key, and with the right efforts, Notts could come out on top. The season's unpredictability adds to the excitement, making every match a chance for the team to prove themselves.
  9. A home encounter against an under-form Tranmere Rovers, this could be the perfect opportunity for Notts County to build on recent momentum. With Tranmere's defensive concerns and their recent defeat, Magpies have a golden chance to press the advantage.
  10. Looking forward to the weekend! An away win would be a significant morale boost for our players and fans. Also, keep an eye on Jodi Jones, I have a feeling he's on the verge of lighting up this season.
  11. A real show of character from the team, proving they are not made of sugar, as Williams put it. The resilience showed on-field was second to none, and it was clear the team was ready for the battle. The ground literally reverberated with the support from the fans. A necessary word of caution - less drama, more control. Let's continue the winning streak, Notts!
  12. Jodi Jones also had a great game, he was a constant threat on the wing, causing all sorts of problems for the Grimsby defence. His deflected cross was a bit of luck, but his assist for Crowley's goal was pure quality.
  13. Once settled and the squad are all on the same level of fitness, performances won’t be so much of an issue. Luke Williams has strengthened the team nicely ahead of League Two. This season should be another joyful one. I’m hoping our firepower and midfield can control games.
  14. The vibrant tone of this article paints a vivid picture of @super_ram. From his early football memories, shared over his father's Littlewoods Football Pools coupon, to the enticing history lessons about Derby and its players from Uncle, this story is bursting with nostalgia. His loyalty to both Derby County and Notts County, evidenced by the regular banter he shared with work friend and subsequent respect for Notts' history, is a real testament to the beautiful game.
  15. Welcome to PoN @BeestonPie.
  16. Thanks to Williams for acknowledging the areas of improvement that the team has to work on. His honesty speaks volumes about his leadership as a manager. The balance between attack and defence is indeed a vital virtue every team should have and it's encouraging to see they're working towards achieving that. Looking forward to seeing their progress in the next few games.
  17. This pre-season friendly against Forest might have ended in defeat, but the lessons learned and the experience gained are immeasurable. There's no doubt about Williams' commitment towards developing the team. The back four formation definitely injected an organised and compact defence, and it shows our coach is flexible enough to switch formations for the benefit of the team. Yes, there were mistakes and some players need more conditioning before they're up to speed, but that's precisely what these friendly matches are for. These matches give us valuable insights into our strengths and weaknesses. Williams clear-sighted approach towards addressing these issues looks promising.
  18. Reading about Tobi's return made me realise how much he brings to the team. His statements about his connection with Aaron and the excitement of being back on the stadium show the level of dedication he has. And the great turnout of fans indicates just how much he’s missed. Here's to more victories with Tobi on field!
  19. Welcome to Notts County, Aidan Stone! I hope you settle in quickly and showcase your abilities on the pitch. We're excited to have you as part of our team.
  20. I can imagine him still being the first person into the club for training and wanting to put in overtime that some younger professionals neglect to think about. He’s a steady player who has worked well and continues to impress. I see no reason why he won’t have a successful season for us. Age is but a number and Jim O’Brien seems superhuman at times. Does anyone remember that nasty gash on his leg? He just got up and walked off like it was just a little bruise.
  21. Players come and go; provided they leave behind some form of legacy and memory, they will have contributed to the club. It’s a shame in one way that we didn’t get promoted sooner, as he may have stuck around, but who knows for sure? The moment we went up could have been the moment he left. I wonder if he would have still decided to leave had Notts not won the playoffs?
  22. Good; Jim getting a one-year deal is the very least we could offer. He’s a true hero of Notts and has done nothing but good things.
  23. Oxford United should be a good fit for Ruben Rodrigues. It’s interesting that Jodi Jones has come this way and Ruben their way. I think with Jodi’s age, we have the better deal, but I would have liked to see him a bit longer.
  24. It’s great to see Jodi getting recognition on the international stage. He’s been a key player for us this season.
  25. I can relate to Fan of Big Tone’s cautious optimism for the future of Notts County. As a long-time fan myself, I’ve also experienced many false dawns and disappointments. But with the Reedtz brothers at the helm and a strong management team in place, I’m hopeful that this time things will be different. Let’s hope for the best!
