I appreciate Tom’s answers. Some could have been more detailed, but I understand it’s early in the season. Relegation can be dreadful, as we Notts fans know, but Fleetwood have a good chance of doing well and could be one of the teams fighting for a playoff place.

I’m content to toss a bit of cash towards the donations now and again. The subscription aspect seems like a very efficient method to ensure the site receives regular assistance to cover expenses and so on. I commend those members who have subscribed, as I’ve mentioned, I’m pleased to contribute.

I don’t pay much attention to friendly matches, and the results don’t concern me. My focus is on understanding how the team is shaping up. Despite a 2-2 draw, I see more positives than negatives. Notts demonstrated some excellent football against a respectable York team. I believe that with a few more players and the starting 11 finding their footing, we’ll be in a strong position by the season’s end.

Friendlies are like this for new strikers stepping up. It seems Millwall are focusing on integrating him into the first team. Once he's on the same level as his teammates and they create chances for him, he'll score.

Booing, as much as it's a raw expression of disappointment, serves little in fostering a positive environment for our team to thrive. What’s needed is a collective push towards lifting the atmosphere, embracing our team's efforts and acknowledging their struggles. As supporters, our role should not just be to critique but to uplift. I’m afraid it was the correct decision, but it should have been taken sooner. The quality of their pitch never seemed adequate enough to pass a pitch inspection. I’ve seen numerous photos, all of which gave me the impression that the decision could have been made earlier. Regrettably, it was still not early enough to prevent Notts fans from travelling to Bradford, but it wouldn’t have been so close to the kick-off time before it was made.

The resilience displayed by the boys was nothing short of remarkable. Maynard's approach to focusing on our strengths and not dwelling too much on the set-backs, especially after the penalty, shows his maturity as a coach. Also, huge shoutout to the fans who were there, your support never goes unnoticed!

I feel the match is likely to end in a draw, but I’m hopeful we can return to scoring and put on a very upbeat performance. I agree that facing Gillingham now has its advantages, they’re having a tough time and that gives us an opportunity to improve from the last time we played them.

Notts improved in the second half, but it wasn’t quite enough to secure a win. We needed a greater contribution from the entire team, not just Jodi Jones. The man of the match decision was fair. Aidan Baldwin had an excellent game, but Jones was more consistent in his role. It’s unfortunate we couldn’t score a second goal, but a draw is a decent result.

Every club needs a manager who believes in the cause and with Stuart Maynard, I think we've hit the jackpot. His approach to the game is progressive, and his past shows he'll give everything for success. We've needed someone who can energise the squad and inject some dynamism into our play. Feeling very optimistic about our prospects.

If the game goes ahead, I reckon the conditions might slow things down. I hope the officials don’t mess about and are good at controlling the game. I agree, Stockport did try to bully Notts at their ground but they did everything right on defence. The quality we showed in that game needs to be repeated tomorrow. No excuses, just go out and aim to create good chances.

I wasn’t present at the match, but I saw the stream and I think Notts did well. It was a big step up from Harrogate, I’m hoping we can reach January without much let down. But if we perform like we did today, it won’t be for lack of trying or effort. Stockport is a hard team to play against, they will be in the automatics by the season’s end as they seem to have a very solid team now.

Notts' determination was striking! Just a bit more conversion rate in front of goal, and the game could've turned out differently. Onwards and Upwards, lads!

As a long standing fan, I greatly admire his integrity and dedication to the club.

Luke Williams appears to be in a difficult place right now. I hope he can find a way out of the darkness and inspire a better performance from the team. I fully support him and believe he will turn things around. However, we may have to accept that for now, Notts may lose more than they win.
