Many members seem to have strayed, but we've had a surge of returning members, and I believe others will come back in time. Everyone has a life outside of Notts, but the sense of togetherness here is on a whole new level.

Crawley looked strong in the first half, not so much in the second. They might have tired out, but that’s no excuse. I still think the result would have gone our way because Notts tends to perform when attacking the KOP. We usually play well in either the first or the second half, rarely throughout the whole game.

What an exceptional match it was! For me, this victory doesn't only signify three points in the bag, but it's a good to see our team's incredible resilience. The way we bounced back after Crawley's initial goal shows the winning mindset we possess. Well done to David McGoldrick for reigniting Notts' hopes with his excellently executed shot.

Williams’ decision to remain with Notts County, in spite of the swirling rumours, is indeed a breath of fresh air in today’s football climate where loyalty can often be overshadowed by opportunity. His choice to stay is not just a testament to his commitment to the club, but also a reflection of the resilience and spirit that Notts County embodies. Williams is more than just a coach; he is a symbol of the club’s enduring spirit and resilience. His actions remind us that in football, loyalty still holds value.

Both Lawton and Carroll have truly left their mark on this day, the 15th of November, through their unwavering dedication and relentless efforts. Their commitment to their work is nothing short of inspiring. It’s a testament to their character and a reflection of their passion. This appears to be a sensible short-term signing, and I hope the EFL gives it their approval. With luck, we’ll be able to offer him a standard two-year deal come January.

Aden Baldwin is indeed correct in prioritising victory, regardless of the cost. However, I share your concern about the potential long-term effects of his heading the ball. This is a serious matter that should not be taken lightly. While it’s true that humour can often be found in darker situations, Baldwin’s performance demonstrated why he is considered one of our top defenders. As for Notts, the key is teamwork. Luke Williams should not be disheartened by any setbacks, but rather use them as motivation to strive for better.

Notts County is certainly cementing its place in history with such a landmark event. It's good to see the respect Luke Williams has for our club's past. His words are an embodiment of the sentiments that every true Notts fan feels towards this great club. As for the upcoming match, Notts County needs to maintain their concentration and function effectively as a unit. If the opposition comes out swinging, we need to weather that storm and remain composed. Teams that successfully apply pressure often cause us to become somewhat disorganised in defence. The Salford match serves as a prime example of how we can defuse the intensity of games and confidently control the ball ourselves. Colchester will undoubtedly be determined not to lose on their home turf, so they’ll be battling for every point available.

Salford City appeared quite deficient early on, which explains why they hadn’t secured a victory at their home ground. Their pitch is not only soulless but also small, which doesn’t seem to work to their advantage. Notts circulated the ball quite well, although there were moments when I wished they had continued moving sideways instead of retreating all the way back to Aidan Stone. Some of his distribution resulted in the ball being instantly returned, which was another source of frustration. However, the match was largely enjoyable. When Notts were in possession, they seemed vibrant and some of the early exchanges appeared to be inspired by training ground manoeuvres. I’m not criticising the performance; I simply believe we don’t always need to aim long goal kicks at one player or pass the ball all the way back to the goalkeeper. Clearly, it worked as evidenced by a solid 2-0 victory. We just need to maintain this momentum.

This interview also highlights some important points; the significance of each victory, the infectious nature of teamwork and chemistry, and the invaluable role played by the fans. Graham Alexander’s comments were indeed very respectful, as one would anticipate. It appears that MK Dons have performed admirably thus far, despite having players unavailable and worries about their strikers. It doesn’t seem to have caused them much harm, but Notts are aware of their quality and we must simply be mindful of our actions. Hopefully, it will be an engaging match where both teams attempt to take advantage of the other.

John Coleman mentioned in the clip above that he wants to take positives from the game, but he spends the majority of the time speaking fictional nonsense and complaining. His side deserved nothing from the game; they didn’t nullify Notts. If anything, Notts slowed their game down way too much and allowed them to come into it after our opening goal. I give Stanley credit for looking like a good side, but their finishing and play in the final third weren’t good at all. Coleman just comes across as a bit bitter; I thought the referee protected them far more than Notts. Their players constantly targeted Langstaff and Jones by taking them down with rash challenges. Their defender also threw himself into the boot of Jones; the ball was low and not at head height. It wasn’t dangerous play on his part, just madness. What about their player who kicked Brindley in the back when he was going to take a throw-in? It was a good game, but Accrington’s hype is very much overstated.

Luke Williams doesn’t need to make changes; there’s no reason for it. If he does, I would imagine it’s tactical or to give someone a rest. All the players are performing at an acceptable level. I think the squad is coming to grips with the level of League Two, whilst our fitness levels have helped to keep consistent performance for 90 minutes. The fact that Notts aren’t chasing the ball or wasting energy is a good thing. I want to see Notts make Accrington work for the ball and any chances that come their way. I have every faith that Notts can do well against them.
