Some Free Agents Notts Could Look At
Some very good players have been mentioned, but I agree with those who think the club will wait until January. We usually spend money in the transfer window, and I am not expecting or demanding that we do. It is just that we signed Jatta in January, along with Mai Traore and Will Jarvis, all for respectable fees at this level and in League One. I think the club will be looking for the right player to bring in. Still, there are many on this list who I would love to see join us.

Dickie Bird RIP
Rest in Peace, Dickie Bird. One of the few names I am aware of from the cricket scene, and I think it speaks for itself that.

Match Discussion: League Two - Crewe Alexandra (A)
I watched the match through the red button on Sky and thought Notts started well. It felt like one of those games where we would score early and then take control. Crewe had a few tidy moments, but I wasnโt worried until they scored from a corner. That goal seemed to unsettle us and change how we played. Crewe had a good spell for about ten to fifteen minutes after their goal. During that time, we looked sloppy and struggled to get back into the rhythm of the game. Once Notts found their footing again, they were clearly the better side over the full ninety minutes. Crewe were physical, with elbows flying, pushing and falling to the ground, but they did offer something going forward. They looked sharp on the counter, and Martin Paterson needs to find a way to help Notts stay solid by attacking more, rather than letting the pressure build through corners. It was gutting to lose to a penalty, especially when we had two clear shouts ourselves that could have changed the outcome. James Golding and Jack Lankester were lucky to stay on the pitch. Golding should have been sent off after three separate offences. He elbowed Scott Robertson, shoved Jodi off the ball, kicked him on purpose, and pulled Alassana Jattaโs shirt so hard he couldnโt move. The referee saw it was a foul but didnโt show a card. Lankester also hit and kicked Robertson, then tried to make it look like Robertson was the one at fault. I hope Notts reports both incidents to the FA. Positives: Good performance away from home Tyrese Hall is starting to settle in Jodi looked back to his best Nick Tsaroulla scored a brilliant goal Notts played the better football overall Negatives: Gave away a soft penalty Lacked sharpness in front of goal Poor marking for Creweโs first goal Slow to respond after conceding early on

Fans Forum
I think it's better to look at the gesture in terms of what it means for the club, rather than how it might affect us as fans. That gives a more balanced and fair view. When you take away the emotional side and focus on the club itself, people tend to think more clearly. It helps to see things as they are, not just how they feel. I believe it's a positive move. I don't see it as a way to silence fans or stop criticism. The Reedtz brothers are clever businessmen, and writing off ยฃ10 million shows they care about the club before anything else.

Match Discussion: League Two - Crawley Town (A)
I hope we can move on from the Gillingham match and show that weโre improving, especially at home. Itโs important to start picking up wins again and build some confidence. Notts donโt need to say we have to win ugly or play well every time. I just want to see progress and let the football speak for itself. Crawley should be a good test for Martin Paterson. I think theyโll make the first half tricky, and weโll need to use the bench well in the second half to keep control and push for the result.

Understanding The Reedtz Vision for Notts County
Itโs hard to read some of the things being said about the Reedtz brothers, especially after everything the club has been through. Weโve had so many setbacks and disappointments over the years, and now weโre finally in a place that feels hopeful. Even though the season didnโt start well, Iโve always believed the squad has real quality. The players care, and you can see that in how they play and how they carry themselves. Itโs not just about talent, itโs about heart, and I think weโve got that. What matters most is that the club is in the hands of people who understand football. They might not always get every decision right, or know the perfect route to success, but their commitment to making things better is clear. I believe their long-term plan will pay off. I find it frustrating when people call for them to leave just because weโre not climbing the leagues fast enough. Weโre not owed anything, we have to work for it, together. Progress takes time, and Iโd rather build something strong than chase quick fixes.

MAGnet Links - Fleetwood Town
Shola Ameobi. Before he joined us in 2017, he was playing for Fleetwood Town. Even that felt strange at the time. It was hard to believe a former Premier League striker like Ameobi had ended up there.

Historic Nottingham : Nottingham Victoria station 125th anniversary
Iโve only ever known one train station in Nottingham, and I donโt like what they did to it when they fixed it up. It used to look really nice, but now it feels like theyโve mixed in new styles that donโt match the old building. It looks a bit messy now. Itโs easier for taxis, parking and dropping people off, which is good. But theyโve messed up how the station looks, and thatโs a shame. Trying to catch a train there can be really annoying. Sometimes they change the platform just five minutes before it leaves, and it makes everything stressful. I donโt understand why Nottingham is so bad at this. Other places seem to manage better.

Match Discussion: League Two - Fleetwood Town (A)
I donโt want to say Notts has to win, even though I do think weโve got a good chance against Fleetwood. The team still needs time to settle and get better, so I wouldnโt be surprised if we have a few problems before things start working properly. Iโm hoping we can at least get a draw, but I do think we might deserve a win. What matters most is making good chances and defending well. The defenders need to do all they can to help Kelle Roos.
-
Do we need another striker?
I still think we need another striker, but it looks like a young player will be used instead. Thatโs a bit disappointing, but Iโd rather see someone from our own club get a chance. Whatโs annoying is how weโve let other young strikers go without giving them a proper try. It wouldnโt be fair to do that again. If heโs going to help now, we should help him grow into a good option for the future. I just hope we donโt let him do well, then sign someone else and put Traore up front instead.
-
Statement from the owners
The clubโs message was pretty normal, but it shows theyโre trying to make Notts strong for the future. Some people might not like the bit about the owners not putting money in, but I think itโs a good thing. It means we wonโt have big debts later on if the Reedtz brothers ever leave. Weโve had owners before who spent badly and got us into trouble, even taken to court. Thatโs why I get annoyed when fans moan about the club having a proper plan. Itโs not something that changes every season, itโs meant to help us in the long run.
