  1. Congrats @DangerousSausage
  2. Why did you join prideofnottingham.co.uk? I'm a big fan of forums and I didn't like another Notts forum that I had joined so when I found this one in its early days it was like coming home and I got a friendly welcome from the residents which at the time were mainly Joe's family. What is your main highlight of being a member? When @notts-joe asked me to be a moderator and help build the community. More recently the PoN team hired an executive box for one of the matches, it was a great day and I met people I had only spoke to online and found they were as friendly off line as they are online. How much have you seen PoN grow during your time? As I have said when I joined there were very few regular posters and they were mainly Joe's family, since then it has grown enormously and to see new members joining on a daily basis and the posts increasing is really fantastic. As a community, what would you say are the three core values to PoN and why? 1. Respect - its what I love most about the community, there are no arguments or trolls causing trouble, we may disagree with anothers point of view but we respect it. 2. Community - There is a strong community feel about the site, we have very young members and very old members (eh @super_ram?) but all are welcome and can feel comfortable being here. There is lots of good natured banter but no one goes over the top, we have a good laugh. 3. Quality - I love the layout of the site and the fact that for me it is very user friendly, it looks professional and clean cut. A lot of hard work is put into the site mainly by @notts-joe and it certainly shows.
  3. I took it off because I thought everyone who wanted to had probably read it, I'll do another some time. Get well soon @PTID1862 kidney stones are very nasty.
  4. Somehow we have got to get back to that seige mentality that we had last season, the board, management, players and fans have got to stick together and have the attitude that its us against the world. The fans have to play their part and show their support, cut out the booing and jeering, I know that is hard when things are going wrong and we've paid good money but it's showing solidarity with the team when they need us. The players don't go out wanting to lose, they want to be successful. Lets all stick together and get out of this hole together.
  5. I agree with everything you say there @Notts-Joe, Shaun is a rookie manager learning his trade he has made mistakes and he will probably make more but to sack him at this stage of the season would in my opinion be folly, I would like him to stay on no matter how the season finishes. For the record I think we have enough to avoid relegation. I'd like to see a settled side instead of chopping and changing and I think we could finish in a comfortable mid table finish which would be progress against last year.
  6. Great interview, well done all concerned.
  7. Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions I found it to be really interesting and learnt some things I didn't know.
  8. Yes why not, always interesting to read others blogs.
  9. This is a great feature @Notts-Joe I don't know where you find the time. Well done.
  10. I reckon we can win this one, I am hoping the lads will be up for it. I'm going for 2-1 to Notts, we might need extra time though.
  11. Big thanks to Ray Trew and of course our Joe for making this possible, some really good honest answers and very interesting to read. I don't think my grandson will be buying the club off him for £2 because he hasn't got £18m in his piggy bank to maintain it.
  12. The Mill in Basford rings a bell, I reckon it was a Friday lunch watering hole when I worked on Stockhill Lane.
  13. I enjoyed reading that, sounds like a good day out, I think I would have enjoyed that. Thanks for the article.
  14. Go on @liampie I'll read it with interest.
  15. We all need to remain positive, the fans, the team, the management, the board everyone involved need to remain positive, if we as fans can get behind the team and show some passion it will be an incredible help, we can stay up and we will stay up. COME ON YOU PIES.
  16. Good read @Super_Ram, I'm sorry I haven't read it so far, I tend to see these articles and think to myself I'll read it later when I've got time and then promptly forget. I'm looking forward to getting to 1894. :-)
  17. I like this new feature it's interesting to read about the officials. It's also interesting to read that the ref has given an average of more than 4 yellow cards a game. I'm not sure he ought to let his twitter account known though, can you imagine the abuse if he has a bad game.
  18. Thanks MickeyPNE, good luck with your promotion push.
  19. Well done Jake another excellent blog, I'd love to have a go at that drum, do you think your Dad could fix it for me? Mind you it would probably give me a headache :-) It'd be great to get into the scoreboard and change the score, you could have made it 6-5 to Notts. Lol. Keep up the good work and keep coming to the matches we need the young fans onboard.
  20. This doesn't make pleasant reading, it seems we are back to square one, I felt that Walsall could easily have got into double figures and I said it at the time and I'll say it again, why did we let Westcarr go? He was at his brilliant best against us.
  21. This is a really interesting blog, I enjoyed reading it thanks Super Pie, tell your friend Louie he doesn't know what he's missing. I hope when my grandson George is older he will be as clever as you.
  22. Fascinating read @Super_Ram, it's brilliant that Steve is still remembered and is a legend to this day, it just goes to show what an impact he made back then. What Notts wouldn't give for a goal scorer with his record playing for us now. Also interested to hear how the Baseball ground got its name, I've often wondered. Thanks for taking the time to write this.
  23. Is lamby Super Ram's offspring? Ho Ho.
  24. Another day, another defeat, things are looking bleak for the 'pies, what's Billy Dearden doing these days?
