Will Notts be up for this? can we get revenge? I am curious as to what will happen if we lose again, I know its early days and we need time but confidence will be at an all time low if we get beaten by our closest rivals again so soon.

we should learn not to put half hearted displays on at home but i think we will. if we dont, people will say its because of mcleod.

If we can get that winning feeling back, it may allow for things to change but at the moment it seems we are forcing it a little to much. I think Mansfield will come to play us in the same way, yet it should be closer this time.

1-2 to them.

When is this game on? Tomorrow? It will come down to who wants to win it more. I don't think the Stags will be going all out, they have a smaller squad. I think our style is suited to this competition. We could win it. No I'm not drunk.

Can I have an ounce of whatever @Dripsey3 has been on? I suspect we are going to have a repeat performance.

Well, it just has to be an improvement on last time!

Hoping for a win, not sure what to expect.

Would like to think McLeod will score on his home debut, and Snijders will get another. It all then depends on our defending.

Watch, we'll win and the performance will be on par with Villa, Stevenage and Huddersfield. You just know that we'll take the JPT more seriously than other clubs and I would honestly be bemused if we didn't. I hate to say it, though if we do win - it would make me more disappointed about losing the first time around.

I seem to remember reading that Ray Trew wanted Moniz to target the JPT. Mansfield's performance against us seems to be their best so far, Notts should be ready this time.

The world is still our lobster we're going to win either 2 or 3-1 as I need the money, previous results have really annoyed my bank manager.

Good result, Mansfield made six changes but we still had to beat them. Sounds like we could have scored more, wish I'd got off my fat bum and gone down there.

Well played NOTTS! Good to go down and see Notts play with determination, and some entertaining and attacking football.

Quick thoughts..

Loach..did what he had to do well. Looked quality, will give Carroll a run for his money.

Campbell..tireless, caused Mansfield plenty of problems.

McLeod..calm under pressure to take home debut goal.

Hollis..best performance I thought for a while.

Atkinson...good home debut.

Who stood out to you?

It was refreshing to see a convincing win. Overall, satisfactory with excellent displays from the diminutive Campbell, Snijders and MacLeod. Atkinson had a good first half but was poor in the second, Audel was reverse.

However, that has to be balanced against the fact that Mansfailed were very poor, yet they might have scored a couple in the first half and they pushed forward in the second allowing us to counter attack.

Hollis remains a pub player but he was ok at that level, he had nobody threatening him yet he did manage to lose Yusuf twice in the 1st half! Audel was all over the show for 30 mins but had a much better 2nd half. Aborah is all skill - in our half - he offers little in the opposition's half. That is a concern in my view.

Swerts looked like a fat bloke out the crowd who'd won a raffle to play in the 1st team. He was dreadful tbh. Stead is just rubbish, full stop, waste of a shirt.

It was a relief, but not a surprise to beat a lacklustre Slags outfit who only had 4 players I'd actually heard of.
