First things first I have updated the table for the last round, but to be honest only about 5 people scored points (ARLukumski top scored with 4) and the rest of us drew a blank so nothings changed! Hence I've not posted it.

Fantastic to finally see the club win a game away from home, the performance was good and it's been the first entertaining game of the season. I didn't think Forest Green was bad at all, I just feel Notts played much better.

Happy with additions and a lot more positive about staying up. After reading Neal Ardleys last article it made me wonder who we missed out on?
All werent first choices so who was the target for their positions?

there was comments by some fans that judged neal ardley for not having a plan b and some pointless comments based on his decision to play three at the back or one up top when he had injuries to the squad.
i think he was making the best of what we had, whilst trying to find a formation that allowed the team to be more defensive minded.
his tactics seem fair for this league and i think they would only improve further with players who listen, give 100% and want to get results when the chips are down.
he seems to have a good eye for a player and a good idea on how to replace targets that are lost. a sign for me which shows he understands how to build a team. i know its still early days but i am curious as to what others think. nobody is always perfect with tactics and signings, yet the signs from ardley are promising i feel.

Schofield 7.5 I know he gave away the free-kick that led to their goal, but the weather conditions dictated that, he caught and saved what he needed to.
Rose 11 I said last week he looked like a CM trying to play RB. This week, he looked like a RB that has played there all his life. Incredible performance.
Barclay 9 Solid. Solid. Solid. Gave away a couple of needless fouls, hence docked a point.
Stubbs 10 I wish he wasn't just on loan. This boy can play. Immense.
Milsom 10 I can't fault anything he did today.
O'Brien 9.5 It's hard to say in words what he does. He breaks up play, and plays in neatly to our front men. Can't ask for too much more. Scored.
Doyle 8.5 As above. It's so nice to see that we can't be calved through in the middle.
Boldewijn 7.5 Defensively weak in the first half. Didn't have the defensive know-how to track his man/know when to tackle and when not to. It seems he was told as much by our new experienced players at HT. However, improved in the second half and that goal - mais ouis.
CMS 8 Chased everything. Had to do more defensive work today, but did it well.
Stead 6.5 Didn't have the best of games today, but kept trying.
Gomis - 6 - Great movement, but needed to finish, and didn't.
Alessandra 6 Did OK.
Hewitt - 6 - Stable
Hemmings - 6.5 - OK

Terry Hawkridge has departed Notts County and joined sollihalls moors since then Alan Hardy has since praised Terrys commitment to the team and says Terry deserves respect.
He also says that Terry didn’t want to just sit on the bench and take his wages.

What point did you lose faith in Hardy and the club?
Difficult question I guess to answer but I would like to ask all fans who read this, not only to comment in detail but share your thoughts as this makes discussions more interesting. Recent events have made me disillusioned beyond repair about the ownership of the club, for me Alan must go.
I hold some faith that Notts can survive but it's very little.
Worrying times again for us all.

Thoughts on how Notts have done in the market? Are you feeling more positive in terms of the relegation battle now? How will each of the new players slot in? And what about the outgoings?
-
Schofield 6 Rarely troubled but could have he done better with Andrade's shot? Great goal but have a nagging doubt over the keeper's attempt?
Rose 6 Solid but sometimes final ball not quite good enough. Defensive duties made more solid by his inclusion in the team
Barclay 6 Certainly showed no fear against a Lincoln side where their aerial threat is perahaps the best in this division
Stubbs 7 Cool head, mobile and can pass.
Milsom 4 What is frustrating, he gets into more forward positions but doesnt have the skill or pace to beat his man. Always looking to lay the ball off.
O'Brien 6 Worked well with Doyle, the pairing plug the enormous hole in our central midfield this season
Doyle 7.5 MotM Outshone O'Connor, crisp and slick passing to feet as well. Suddenly we look like building attacks rather than kick and hope
Alessandra 4.5 Crucially needlessly lost position that allowed Lincoln to break and score. Just occasional flashes of skill but one can say he is never truly effective. Defenders know he will always check back rather than beat them
Boldewijn 6.5 Shows the trickery we have been missing but Bruno Andrade showed far more effectiveness from the Lincoln man
CMS 7 First I admit to being wrong, CMS has still got pace and chased down everything
Stead 6 Better service to him, won penalty...but chances for the rest of the game very few
Subs
Gomis 6 Has got pace, could have had an early chance but touch eluded him when passed to in penalty area with space to turn
Hemmings 6 welcome back, for powerful running, just a pity his shots lack the accuracy expected

I'm delighted with the improvement and with the point. At one point in the first half Lincoln really seemed to be losing their discipline and I fancied our chances of scoring a second, but it wasn't to be. I was impressed with every one of the new signings, the grit and work ethic of Rose, O'Brien, Doyle and CMS is what we've been missing all season. Why didn't we sign players like this in the summer? What were we playing at?
However, that's another game gone without a win. We need to start winning now, regardless of who the opposition is. The sooner we get our next three points the better.
-
A big turn around from before. I know its only one match but its s big improvement to the squad and teams confidence.
-
Good result even at a point, the next fixture should be interesting.
Yes Notts could have won but you have to respect a point, especially when it comes from playing the leagues leaders.
