Jamie Turley, says his goodbyes, as a new agreement can’t be reached , sorry to see him go was better equipped in my opinion than many others for the dog fight we are in , gave his all , good luck to him as a free agent in finding another club , and thanks for your efforts while at the Lane .

Rumours suggest Forest have ripped up the loan deal of Jorge Grant who is on a season long at the hatters Luton Town.
Apparently Nottingham Forest have triggered a recall option on the midfielder who has made 22 appearances scoring just 4 for the league one side.
Forest did the same last January with Ryan Yates while him and Grant was also on loan with Notts.
Forest then sent Yates out on loan with a higher league side. Rumours suggest that is what will happen with Grant. one thing is for sure he won’t be heading to meadow lane according to Alan Hardy.

I started running about 18 months ago, I’m 65 and had never done running before, in fact hated cross country at school. I was worried about my weight and fitness so I started gradually with an app called couch to 5k, which is a nine week course to literally take you from being a couch potato to running 5k.
Before I started I couldn’t run 100 yards without collapsing in a heap, now I regularly run 5k at least three times a week. I’ve started doing the organised park runs, today I competed with over 350 other people of different levels of ability, I came 233rd and 2nd for my age group, I beat a lot of people years younger than me and did a personal best for me of just over 30 minutes, I felt so proud. I’ve lost over a stone in weight and feel physically and mentally a lot better than I did.
I can recommend it to anyone who is physically able it’s great fun but start with the couch to 5k programme which starts you off very gradually with short runs followed by a walk to get your breath back and then gradually builds up your stamina and confidence until you can run 5k.

The new players need time to settle but we dont really have the time because we need to stay up, so i would hope we can sign new players to be better than we were today.
-
Not the result we was hoping for but the new players looked good especially Schofield even though he conceded he still good and very promising young player. We still need to strengthen the defence still annoyed that Jamie didn’t get on for a fair well though.

There was some good play from Notts, not enough but players like Kristian Dennis made every effort to do something from nothing. Shame the majority seem spineless and unmotivated.

RIP Notts County FC. Born 1862. Died 2019. Murdered by Alan Hardy. Accomplices - the current squad of talentless, lazy, overpaid wasters. Funeral to held at Swindon Town FC 4th May 2019. No flowers.

Would you give Jamie Turley a new deal?

Would you give Jamie Turley a new deal?
There's no talk about the contract discussions yet, however his deal will soon expire and unless it's actually done and dusted behind the scenes - it's not looking promising. However, I am a big fan of Jamie's approach. He deals with threats quite well and is miles better than Richard Duffy (Turley actually tries).
In this league he's someone I would have in the squad any day of the week.
What do you think?

Notts County and the gaffer have today received some good news as winger Enzio Boldewijn is ahead of schedule as he looks to return to the first team earlier than the original three month assessment suggested.
Enzio who was injured back in November and underwent surgery to repair his knee in the 1-1 draw his return was first scheduled middle of February but it seems he is ahead of schedule.
The gaffer said “he is making excellent progress and is pencilled in to return to full training next week”

So this Saturday Notts play Cambridge in a bottom of league two clash at meadow lane as Alan announced it will be £2 a ticket like last February again Crewe.
Who’s coming to meadow lane to cheer the lads on this Saturday in our must win game against Cambridge.

So Notts county are on their 3rd manager in as many months. First it started with the sacking of Kevin Nolan, when County fell into the relegation zone and didn’t perform well enough.
Then Harry Kewell whom came with a price tag from Crawley and the desire to change this and keep Notts county in league two.
Now the hiring of Neal Ardley the manager who not only saved afc Wimbledon from relegation but got them promoted to league one.
So my question is this- is Neal Ardley the right man to save Notts County, is he the right man for the job.?
