Worth a look!!!!!!....o

Here's Jürgen Kohler with some fruit.

Just been listening to some music whilst doing the washing up and some of them have some incredible intros. What is everyone's favourite intro to a song? Doesn't have to be the best but your personal favourite.

Mine would have to be either

Sweet Child o'mine or Bittersweet Symphony.

Notts County boss Neal Ardley wants Covid-19 tests for footballers to be made mandatory, insisting players’ health must be a priority.

The Magpies, who have tested their players on a regular basis since the start of the season, have pulled out of the FA Cup after six members of their squad contracted the virus.

Ardley believes the outbreak in his squad was triggered by an opposing team. He insists players across the country will take to the field this weekend Covid-19 positive without knowing, putting themselves, their teammates and opponents at risk.

whos on twitter?

its something i have been thinking about recently, as i am tempted to join it. i am on facebook but i dont actually use it all that much, it seems more hassle than its worth and i only interact with notts things.

Does anyone have any good TV show recommendations?

Time to take a break from carving your pumpkins - it's yet another batch of prediction league fixtures! The rules are the same as always: one joker each, and post your scores by 3pm on Saturday, 31 October is you want them to count. Good luck!

Preston North End v Birmingham City

QPR v Cardiff City

Portsmouth v Charlton Athletic

Wigan Athletic v Northampton Town

Cheltenham Town v Forest Green Rovers

Stevenage v Grimsby Town

Yeovil Town v Chesterfield

Bromley v Eastleigh

Does any other members here have any interests in computers, or retro games?

It's been good to see retro consoles released with classic titles, such as the Mega Drive and Nintendo 64. I'm also an advocate for Arc and RetroPie.

With the positive tests of a further two players, our withdrawal from the FA Cup and the postponement of our next two league matches, our hopes of going through the season relatively unscathed by The Sickness seem to be over. First of all, I hope all involved come through it quickly and are well again soon. Health comes first. And the actions of our owners in doing everything in their power to keep everyone safe, including paying for a testing regime even at the expense of our chances on the field, are absolutely commendable and correct.

However, I can't help but wonder what kind of season is going to be possible under these circumstances. We won't be the last club to put its season on hold, and winter hasn't even started yet. I suspect more clubs will be forced to follow Merthyr Town and mothball this season entirely. And if that starts to happen, at what point does it become impossible to continue the season at all? It's depressing. I wonder what football (and the world) will look like when we come out of this.

Also, I've got a trivia question. When was the last time Notts didn't compete in the FA Cup?

Hi everyone, it's time to consult your crystal balls / Sports Almanacs again. These matches all kick off on 7.45 pm on Tuesday, 27 October, so we'll be needing your predictions - and one joker each - by then. Good luck!

Brentford v Norwich City

Swansea City v Stoke City

Plymouth Argyle v Doncaster Rovers

Fleetwood Town v Shrewsbury Town

Rochdale v Sunderland

Bromley v Weymouth

Stockport County v Solihull Moors

Maidenhead United v Dagenham & Redbridge

On 24 October 2003, Concorde made its last flight. At 3pm on Saturday, 24 October 2020, however, round 8 of the prediction lifts off (sorry). If you fancy hitting the stratosphere, get your predictions in by then, and remember your jokers!

Coventry City v Blackburn Rovers

Bristol City v Swansea City

Accrington Stanley v Bristol Rovers

Lincoln City v Ipswich Town

Oxford United v Swindon Town

Morecambe v Forest Green Rovers

Salford City v Crawley Town

Stevenage v Leyton Orient
