I Do Not Believe It! (Despite Video Proof)

This cannot be our Mark Fotheringham, surely! I swear some clever person's morphed his face into the video! haha. Seriously, I think he's improved a bit recently and would rather see him in the side, playing a more offensive role (either that or give Boucaud a rest)

He along with a few others were definitely on the problem side of the team after the start we had. To be fair to him he has had to step up since Lids was injured and deserves credit for that. The role is a difficult because not all fans appreciate the work needed to be put into it.

BUT

I still think mid and CF are the weakest links and that is why we are in the mire (but only just after a well deserved run!)ย

It's good skill in the video though, he does have a good set of abilities/skill but he seems to be nervous about using them.

His passing can be very good though and I think he's one of those players who needs time on the ball (as I have mentioned elsewhere). It seems to settle his nervous when he's been on the ball and crafted parts of our movement, he seems to have a good understanding with Grealish. As I've noticed Jack creating similar passes, which seems Fotheringham is contributing to helping.

I hope to see him return to the form we signed him off. :)

I disagree that he should start using his skill set. When he previously did this, he got us into trouble through repeatedly losing the ball. His improvement is down to him doing the basics right.

He has improved, would I keep him at the end of the season? Not a chance.

I have been harsh on fotheringham before the injury but credit to him, hes picked up his peformances and as contributed to play. we need this from him, i also agree it looks like he looks out for the younger players.

Good on ya Marky!

I think he has come on leaps and bounds since SD arrived, the manager seems to bring out the best in players, JCR another prime example.
