@Wheelbarrow repair man the thing is, Macca was on the substitutes bench at the weekend against Southampton. Why would he be on the bench if he was injured?

Something doesn't add up

@Wheelbarrow repair man The vast majority of online pundits don't think Notts are even going to make the playoffs this season.

I wonder why?

Maybe it's Macca going having something to do with it

You know @Robbie there seems to be a bit of History Repeating it's self, regarding Macca. I don't know if you remember a Player back in the 70's by the name of Derek Hales? Like Macca he was scoring goals as if they were going out of Fashion for Charlton Athletic, from 1973 -76 he scored 72 goals for Charlton , he was then Sold to Derby County and he scored a mere 4 goals  76-77 then a further 10 for West Ham United 77-78. Before returning to Charlton 1978-1985 to score another 76 Goals to become their all time leading Scorer.

Lets hope Macca isn't destined for a similar type of Career. Mind you a return to Notts wouldn't go amiss. Why did Hales fail at both Derby and West Ham? Could it be they didn't play to Hales Strengths? Because once back in the Old Routine at Charlton there were  Goals aplenty. You yourself have said you can't understand Millwall buying Macca because they don't play the type of Football that plays to Macca's scoring abilities. If this continues Not only will Fans begin to get on the Guy's back, but it's bound to have an effect on Macca's Game. Things may have been a lot Different if Macca had gone to join Luke Williams  at Swansea.

Agree,

Macca put the goals away but he had such a great supply route with Crowley, Jones, McGoldrick, & Nemane plus the rest of the Notts team.

Macca started the game for Millwall in their league cup win at Portsmouth, but Macca is still without a goal for his new club.

He just needs time to settle in I’m sure the goals will start to flow once he gets one.

someone i know who supports watford said macaulay langstaff kept bumping into his own players and looked like a headless chicken. he said that he looked to be struggling with the pace and intensity of the game.

i hope he starts to find his feet with them.

No Langstaff in Millwall's squad today to face Bristol City.

Millwall need to stick with playing Macca. Having him in and out won’t help, and dropping him won’t either. He’ll start to succeed if they give him time.

Langstaff was in Milwall’s squad @Robbie, he came on after 83 minutes.

Millwall lost 4-3 to a late winner. Looks like Millwall are adopting our score loads, concede loads mantra of last season!

Fans wanted him in the starting line up looking at the comments, must be seeing his work ethic, if not goals.

Macaulay comes on as substitute for the LAST 2 MINUTES of the Millwall game against Hull City. Still waiting for his first goal for the club.

What a waste.

I think Millwall are making a mistake by not continuing to play Macca. He needs time to adjust. If they keep him out of the squad, they might as well consider a loan. Then, bring him back when his confidence is up. For example, if he came back here until January. If he scored and gained confidence, his return to them might be easier with his scoring instincts intact.

Macca played a full 90 minutes tonight.

Millwall lost 0:1 to Orient in the League Cup.

The way Millwall play, they are not getting the best out of Macca.

Bring him home Notts.

I was tracking a few of the games last night, when I checked the stats for the Millwall game after about 60 mins they hadn't even had a shot! By all accounts it was a really poor performance but if you don't provide your strikers with any chances what are they supposed to do. I really hope it works out for Macca, it's still very early days for him there but Neil Harris won't have exactly helped his confidence with comments like that.

Millwall will probably sell Macaulay Langstaff if they can't get the best out of him. It seems like a difficult situation for him. If they don't play to a striker's strengths, players won't score. He could be a good scorer if they figured out how to get him the ball. He seems to be playing to their style, but they aren't playing to his.

Macca still goalless for the season.

Millwall lost 0:1 to Luton at home.

Unlucky! Macca was sent through one-on-one in a huge chance on 81 minutes, but he was denied a first Millwall goal by a big stop from Luton goalkeeper Kaminski.

Will things turn around for Macca. Time will tell.

Get him back down the Lane on loan and then buy him back in the January Transfer Window. Wishful Thinking? Maybe but something need to be done to End the Lad's Torment. He should Never have Gone To Millwall in the First Place.

When we were talking about Morias. I think the same things happened to Macca at Millwall.

Does the Millwall Manager like him. The evidence says different.

@Robbie

That's one Hell of a Good Point Robbie. Because if there's a Recruitment Team at Millwall and they decided they wanted Macca, they bought him and then told their Head Coach to get on  with Coaching him. The thing is the Millwall Head Coach isn't going to change his whole Game Plan for the sake of One Player so poor Old Macca is Stuck at a place he doesn't want to be and is playing a System that is totally Alien to him, and it would seem he isn't going to get enough game time to be able to adapt to the New System.

The shot Macaulay Langstaff had was a close effort. All the talk and lack of playing time impacts a performer, even if they don’t realise it. He would have scored that for us, but it was still a good effort and a positive sign. If Millwall can build similar chances, he’ll come good, but he needs to be played. Millwall need to give him confidence so he can focus and ignore the stats.
