Our main focus must be on the league. I’m pleased to see that we are undefeated and that Stuart Maynard has made sure the players understand how important this is. We have a lot of quality in the team, with squad players who all offer something different but together make us a tough side. I hope our form continues, with the players really trying to protect this record.

Let's hope we can extend the record come Saturday, I wonder how long we've managed to go unbeaten into a season before?

In our NL promotion season we also went 8 games unbeaten before we lost to Dorking... That's still a league, albeit not in the Football League. Is 8 the best streak?

Let's hope we can keep the unbeaten run going on Saturday.

A win against Gillingham would be massive & it would send a message to the rest of the teams in the division that Notts are a team to be reckoned with this season.

BetFred Notts County are unbeaten in the League their Best start to a Campaign since 2005.

Well that's put the Kibosh on it. Hopefully the Magpies can keep their Run Going, but Saturday is going to be a Toughie.

Eventually Notts will get beat.  And that will be a Test of Stuart Maynard's Metal, particularly if it's a Heavy One. It will Show his Ability about picking up the team after such a Match. It will also give us Fans an insight into how Far he as come as a Head Coach.

@Wheelbarrow repair man

Stuart has come along way already. This is not the team of last year. Half the team are newbies. This is Stuart's team and they will be playing for Stuart, not anyone else.

We know Notts can lose at least 8 games & still get promoted.

Wrexham were promoted with 10 losses

If Notts lose more than 10 games this season I will be surprised. If they do, they can still make the playoffs

Crawley lost 18 games, scraped into the playoffs & won promotion.

Let's be positive. We have a great opportunity for honours this season. Time to give Stuart some credit for helping to build, then beginning to mould a side that can challenge for honours.

@Robbie

While there is No denying Stuart Maynard as made Rapid Strides in his full time Head Coach Role, there are still problems he hasn't come up against, however whatever problems come his way I am confident he will overcome them. On present form the Magpies should at least make the Playoffs, it as been quoted by Notts Fans on Youtube and other platforms, League 2 doesn't appear to be as Strong as it was last season.

Is it weaker? Hard to say there are different Teams to play and different surfaces for the Notts players to play on, so there are Challengers to be risen to and conquered. And if Notts do gain Promotion to League 1 either automatic or via the Playoffs then the Club will have to fight off interest from Clubs higher up the Leagues for their Best Players and That is another Problem SM will have to face, a difficult one should the Club wish to sell those players.

It would be great to see this continue for as long as possible. Keeping the winning streak would be impressive, especially if Notts can get through a few more matches. However, staying unbeaten is just as important.

Shows the strong start Notts have made and how different things are this time round compared to last season. Gillingham at the weekend is going to be a big test, but it would be nice to see the form continue.

we are looking quite settled, it will be interesting to see how we do against gillingham but our start to the season has been impressive. it shows the importance not to judge so early on. we do need to protect the winning and undeated streaks. :D

It's awesome how we have started, it has been important after the Fleetwood game that we got off to winning ways and have managed to protect the three wins leading into the Bromley match. At some point, it will be broken, but whilst Notts are working hard and the players are enjoying their football - we could within the right approach been somewhat unbeatable.

Gillingham is going to be a good insight as to how we match up against another but for now, I do feel we can make Meadow Lane a fortress.

With Notts being prompted around various social media pages, it's great to see!

It’s always a good sign seeing Notts setting records and beating past feats. It shows the club is heading in the right direction. I agree with others; maintaining an undefeated run makes you believe in promotion. If we can just keep going, who knows where we’ll be by Christmas? It would be great to see us actively competing for the championship.

It’s great to see Notts undefeated. It might motivate more teams to put in effort, but provided our players stay focused and work hard, we will be able to navigate things. Sooner or later, it will be reset, but it would be nice to think we could make it beyond September. It’s also nice to see our neighbours, showing Nottingham is a talented city of football.

It’s amazing, you want to see this continue and never want it to stop. I am impressed with Notts so far. Proud of the team!

It means little, but so much to us fans. I am sure the club won’t be paying attention to these stats, even if Stuart Maynard discusses it as he has in his recent presser. Take it game by game.
