His Wikipedia isn't much to go on, so I won't read much into that. I have faith in the scouting, and our ability to develop players. If he's quick, he should get plenty of chances (if this is true).

It would push Junior Morias more out of the picture, but the likelihood of him getting minutes again seemed slim.

Interesting potential signing though, I hope it is true because the firepower could be a vital part of our promotion push.

If this happens I really hope it is to complement our forward line to boost our promotion prospects and not a replacement for Jatta.

i am glad its official but we need to quash the rumours that some are speculating that its a replacement for jatta to leave now. stuart maynard has said he dont expect anyone to go and i think that is a good enough reassurance until more concrete news comes out. some fans just panic and had to the gloom, when there is any and is no need for it. have a bit of faith we can get promoted i say.

Mai has to get a visa and entrance clearance, then he will have to train with the team. Not sure what his fitness is like, but I'm sure Notts will have specific expectations regarding fitness, so it could be a several weeks before we see him make his debut.

I don't think Notts will want to rely solely on Didzy while Mai gets up to speed when Notts are pushing hard for promotion. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to sell Jatta today.

More likely is that Mai may be a replacement for Jatta if he goes in the summer, but that is not by all means certain.

Traore’s signing seems like a smart move. His stats from Scandinavia are impressive, and he brings a mix of pace, power, and skill to our front line. Montague’s comments suggest he’s got a good work ethic and strong link-up play, which bodes well for his integration into the team. The fact that he’s left-footed is a bonus. While there’s always some risk with new signings, his experience across multiple leagues should help him adapt. If he can replicate his form from Norway, we’ve got a player who could make a real difference. Here’s hoping for a smooth transition and some exciting goals!

Looks like we’ve got a hidden gem. His stats in Scandinavia are promising.

It's great to see the club making proactive moves in the transfer market. Traore's record in Norway shows he has both the talent and experience to make an impact. He’s been consistent across different teams and leagues, which is promising. His ability to press and create chances is exactly what we need to strengthen our attack. Let’s hope he fits in well with the squad and can bring that same level of performance here.

Excellent piece of business! A robust, swift forward is just what we've been lacking. Eagerly anticipating his debut.

Mai Traore appears to be a shrewd acquisition for our squad. We've been lacking some extra pace and power up front, and from what I've observed, he's got both in spades. His stint in Norway demonstrates he can perform at a high level, and his breakout season in Sweden was exceptional. If he can recapture that sort of form, he could truly be a game-changer for us.

It's encouraging to see the club focusing on signing players with potential for growth. With any luck, we'll give him the time he needs to acclimatise and adjust to English football.

A very exciting signing, hopes will be high given how Jatta’s transfer turned out! I trust the recruitment team, in terms of strikers they usually get it spot on.

Jatta’s goal stats from the Danish Superliga weren’t great, but a lot of his appearances were off the bench. I’m not too worried about Traore’s goal return in the Eliteserien, because it’s a similar scenario. The top teams in Sweden and Norway are a lot better than the clubs at League 2 level, so I’m really hopeful we’ve signed another top attacking talent!

Can't wait to see him in a Notts shirt soon!

This signing looks to be both intriguing and promising. Although his record might not match Jatta's, I can see potential in him. He’s definitely a player I believe Notts can develop further. If he’s as quick as they say, it would certainly intimidate League Two defenders, as well as those in higher leagues. Being at the right age to be nurtured and encouraged, I believe he’ll make a significant impact.

It's great to see the club exploring talent outside the EFL. I have no doubt Notts fans will warmly welcome him from day one. I am eager to see Mai Traore on the field and representing the club in a Notts shirt.

As a striker, Mai Traore’s record may not stand out, but I have more confidence in the way Notts County handles transfers now. The club carefully selects players rather than making random signings, which gives me hope. I'm m looking forward to seeing what Traoré can bring to the team. If he fits into the system and develops under Stuart Maynard, he could prove to be a smart addition.

He looks like an interesting addition to the team. With talk of his speed and ability, it should prove to be a benefit. I see that Stuart Maynard says he will need time, so I hope nobody is quick to judge Mai Traore. However, he will get the respect he deserves from us. I am sure he will prove to be a popular addition, just like Eli Sam did.

On paper, it looks like a good signing. I don't think it should overshadow the arrival of Will Jarvis, but Mai Traore is still a very good signing for us. Even if he needs time to settle into the club, his speed would be a welcome addition. If he could be a more consistent Enzio-type player, we would have signed a corker for sure.

He looks like a useful footballer, and his previous experience sounds like it can transition to English football. If Mai Traore has the right attitude, he'll use this move to help us climb out of League Two or attract better opportunities for himself down the line. Somewhere in the middle would be nice, but he sounds very promising.

He looks like a very good signing. If he can inject speed and take on players, it would give us creativity in the right area and not just potential goals. I think this might be more of a replacement for David McGoldrick, while he can still influence players around him and help them continue.
